I was very happy to see that they have strombolis. They have little games on the tables for customers like Uno cards, Rubik's cubes, and trivial pursuit questions. Great customer service and really good food

The pizza and subs are amazing! My kids love going here and I do as well. Would highly recommend!

I guess I could say I'm glad they are closing. went in to support a local business as I heard they were closing shop. walked in. zero greeting, just looks. the lady at the counter was very nice and the only reason I decided to tip $5 on a $4 order. zero thanks as I was leaving. So I guess if you weren't a regular, they just dont like to acknowledge you. good luck in your future endeavors

Friendly neighborhood establishment. The garlic knots were very good. The pizza was authentic New York style. They were very down to earth with their pricing. It was clean and the service was fast. We will be going back.

Okay, I am pretty sure I cried walking out of this pizza place after picking up my order. I cried because the customer service was incredible and my heart melted at how sweet the staff was over the phone AND in-person! Everyone was incredibly friendly, made me feel welcomed and very accommodating to my order. I do have to say - the pizza and garlic knots were not amazing in my opinion; very average food, but I still gave 4 stars because I think this is the nicest staff at any pizza place ever.

Hands down best food and owners ever.....as a New Yorker its by far the most legit authentic food I've come across by a landslide!!! If I closed my eyes I would've sworn I was back in NY! Would've rated 10 stars if possible! Will definitely be a returning customer for life! 💕🍕

REAL NY pizza! The owner is fantastic and all the staff are friendly, remember your name, and are happy to make your food in any concoction you choose!

Must be missing something on this place or hit it on a bad day or time. Family had single slices of chicken bacon ranch, supreme and cheese (with black olives added). It was about your average, lukewarm NY style pizza. Garlic knots were stale and not that flavorful. I was pretty disappointed as they are within walking distance of my residence.

I don't normally review. But Jax and Gabe's has been so consistently amazing I feel compelled to. Springfield is a surprisingly impressive culinary stronghold. We have no shortage of pizza options but we continually go back to Jax and Gabe's. The pizza is incredible, without a doubt. Love it. The people - both the owners and staff - are so incredibly kind. These folks understand that they aren't in the pizza business, they are in the people business. They appreciate each customer 100%. A+ local business.
