My Husband and I go to Jimms often, we make a hour and a half drive just for it! This is our celebration spot, starting since 2024 we went for our first anniversary and our engagement celebration! Every time we are always extremely pleased with our experience! Every server and staff member is amazing! We made a reservation for Valentine’s Day and even with them being busy, everyone was in bright spirits! Tonight we had Amara and she was kind, prompt, and gave great recommendations! The Prime Rib is my favorite, we tried the Brulee’d cheese cake and it was fantastic! I honestly recommend this restaurant to everyone when I talk about it and my husband and I look forward to the next time we get to go!

Everything was good but when I left a tip on my credit card my waitress comes around before we were bout to leave and asks if everything was good and if she did anything wrong. We told her she did fine and she was still like did I do something wrong. What a slap in the face for I’ve never had a waitress plead to get more of a tip. Little did she know that we were going to leave her more on the table but not after that. She’s lucky we gave her anything after that kind of attitude.

First visit to Jimmy’s Steakhouse over the weekend and it was great! The salad bar is a one-trip style and, if you have ever been to Mazzios pizza, it was almost identical in flavor and options to their salad bar- even the dressing tasted the same. We ordered the blue cheese bacon burgers and they were cooked to perfection- so large I had to take mine to go for lunch the next day. It came with a loaded baked potato that was delicious as well…. But I didn’t come here to talk about the food. It was the service that was top notch. Our server was professional, attentive, and fast. It’s been a long time since we have experienced service that had been trained right and I had forgotten how nice that was. KUDOS to this restaurant for not putting a suggested tip amount on the ticket. I strongly dislike seeing when a business intentionally obligates the customer to pay their servers- I told my husband that ticket made me so happy it made me wanna tip higher than I had initially planned. Thank you for a lovely evening out. We will be back. P.S. The Christmas decor was gorgeous and oh so cozy. I wanted to take one of the blankets off the hooks and cuddle up with a cup of coffee.

Tonight I went to Jimm's To celebrate my 19th wedding anniversary what a huge let down. Mind you I have gone there before and loved it. I had a reservation for 6 pm 11-13-2025. We arrived 10 minutes early and it was packed. We waited till about 6:15 pm to get seated then another 15 minutes without anyone coming to the very small table and loud atmosphere we were seated at. Mind you on the way to the table the hostess informed us that we had to be done eating and give up the table by a certain time. Something that has never happen before. Remind you we had a reservation. It was taking forever just to get drinks and I was told by an employee that she was trying to find our server. After feeling like I am being treated like my business does not mean anything to them we finally decided to leave and head to Metropolitan Grill where my good friend Pat Duran and his crew salvaged our 19th wedding anniversary! The whole time we were there we were treated like we were basically a nuisance! The staff talked to us terrible and at no time did I complain. I just eventually left and told them they were so busy that we would go to another establishment and I hoped they all had a good night. Now I did not want to bring up the fact that me and my wife are a mixed couple. I am Coach Smitty owner and operator of Smitty's Mid-West Boxing Gym/Youth Center here in town. I am a Hall of Famer and I was Youth of the year when I graduated from Hillcrest High School, I have a BA in Criminal Justice, I am also a Combat Veteran. The reason I am telling you this is I have NEVER played the racial card in American and I am still a proud American. This is one time I really felt discriminated against at an establishment one I use to love to attend every Anniversary! Not anymore! I do not feel anyone owes me anything and I do not have a chip on my shoulder I am stating facts because I give back to this community each and everyday of my life and to be treated with such disrespect at an establishment such as Jimm's is what makes me wonder if we as a people will ever get it right and understand and admit these things do happen to African Americans in this country. As a customer and a 100% disabled Veteran who works with inner-city kids each and everyday I did not deserve such treatment on me and my wonderful wife's wedding anniversary! I for one will never go into that establishment again. I for one still believe that America is the best thing going today! But people we have to work on somethings and be honest about somethings! Alot of you know me I am a Heart Of The Ozarks Sertoman who raises money for all the Boy's & Girl's Club's with my fellow Sertomans's who know me and know I am not one to play the race card! But tonight felt totally wrong and totally out of line!! Disappointed Customer! Coach Smitty

Jimms is hands down one of my favorite restaurants. They know how to cook a steak very well. I can't remember a time that my food has been anything other than well cooked. The salad bar is great and is always kept ice cold, clean, and stocked. The only complaint that I would have is that they changed their bread a few years back and that was tragic! Still delicious though. Great atmosphere, especially around the holidays. Their beer is always ICE cold and they have wonderful cocktails. Highly Highly recommend. Oh! They also take reservations which so many places no longer do.

Why advertise happy hour or drink specials but then tell your customers they have to specifically ask for those discounts? We went once, early to enjoy happy hour, but noticed on our bill everything was full price. We had dinner too which was okay. Even in their email advertisements, they say to come in for Wine Wednesday but you have to mention the discount to your server. Just honor your word. Don't make your customers uncomfortable by asking for specials you advertise.

Fancier than a chain steak house but not as fancy as some of the high end steak houses in town. Great little salad bar. but the best part are the steaks. I think Jimm's cooks the best steaks in town. No need to pay way more for a steak that doesn't compare to Jimm's.. Love going there for lunch as well.

We took our daughter out for lunch today for her birthday, and we had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food. Then, her chicken sandwich was dry.
I'm not sure what happened but it was a bummer.
