Bought a caprice salad unwich. The wife is a vegetarian and asked for no meat. There was next to nothing in it. (Picture attached.) They charged us $10!When I called the manager to ask about maybe getting a coupon for the next time to make up for it she blamed us for not asking for extra veggies. She also interrupted me constantly and said it wasn’t her fault. And she eventually hung up on me.Customer service is truly dead here.As a side note: we went there once and had two sandwiches, two chips and a drink and spent $27.I’m extremely disappointed with JJ’s as a whole recently.I wouldn’t have written this review if the manager hadn’t taken the hard line of blaming the customer. Will never go back to this one. And may never go back to JJ’s ever.

I had a rather negative experience upon my last visit and I won't likely be back for a while.I walked in during the busy lunch rush with $115 in cash on me. I ordered an Italian Night Club combo, add Jimmy Peppers and avocado spread. The cashier rang me up and stated my total was $15.45. I proceeded to hand him a $100 bill. He wouldn't take it, saying that there was 4" square piece of paper on the front door declaring that they wouldn't accept any bills larger than $20. So I told the gentleman that I only had $15 in small bills. By this time there was a line behind me and my sandwich was already made. He tried to add rewards to my order for a discount, to no avail. So I said, "I guess take the avocado spread off." The cashier then picked up the sandwich and handed it back to the kitchen staff saying, "make this without avocado spread so he can afford his lunch." I felt like that was pretty rude and embarrassing. The kitchen staff then remade my sandwich and he charged me $14.10. I had to wait for my sandwich and I assume they threw the other one away? The whole situation just seemed ridiculous to me. . . . Over 45 cents? The sandwich was good, but my lunch experience was kind of ruined. I'm not one to be easily offended, but this all seemed soo wasteful and dumb to me. It definitely could have been handled better. $14 for a cold sandwich and chips isn't worth this situation being added on top of it. I was very put off and will not likely return to this location.

I went to Jimmy John’s at S National on Monday afternoon, I’ve been there many times before. I ordered on line to pick up my order, a No 1 Pepe. I walk in, there were only two bags on the pick up shelf. I looked at both of them as the store employee ignored me and I took the bag that said #1 Pepe on it and walked out to my car. As I looked at the receipt the price paid was more than my order, so I turned around to go back inside because I thought it wasn’t mine. This young girl with long black hair comes out of the store and hands me a bag saying I picked up the wrong one I thanked her and drove off. After I got clear across town to Brentwood I realize the sandwich is not mine, has someone’s name on it. I’m not going to drive back the six miles to get the right sandwich so I ate it and it was gross. A special order of turkey, cheese, cucumbers, extra mayo and oregano. ? If it had just been one of their regular turkey sandwiches, I would have just let it go. So thinking I was owed a sandwich I went into the store on Wednesday with the wrong receipt and my phone to show the guy at the counter. The same girl that gave me the sandwich interrupts and says are you the person who picked up the wrong order and I said yes that I just wanted a replacement for the sandwich I didn’t get. She very snottily said That since technically it wasn’t their fault they weren’t going to do anything about it. I said you’ve got to be kidding me and she shook her head no with a smug grin. I said, but you even ran out of the store and gave me the wrong sandwich. And she said no I didn’t. I said well then you’re a liar. And she said no, you’re a liar. There was someone here that witnessed the whole thing. I asked so you’re willing to lose a customer? She said “Yup!” I was simply incredulous and I stated, well I guess your generation really is a mess. She actually had the gall to say back to me, I feel the same way about yours. Nailing her disrespect right in my face, the customer’s face, a woman that could be her grandmother or mother. Now I have never asked for anything of any Jimmy John’s store, never had a reason to. I’m a repeat customer, I use their reward program. I emailed the corporate office to let them know about the incident at that store, as a former business owner, I would have wanted to know about it. Then I get a call today from the regional manager, David Fortner, out of Minneapolis MN, and he apologized, but then went on to defend her. He said they have repeat customers who frequently claim things are wrong, and whether or not the customer is wrong he tells them they should just move on and solve the problem. That there’s always he said she said, which he had the nerve to say after I just got done telling him that she denied running out of the store and handing me the wrong order herself, which again tells me he believes her, not the customer and that it’s OK to call a customer a liar! I asked if he fired this girl who told me she was the manager, he said she was the assistant manager. I even explained that I was a former franchise owner myself for nine years of a store in St Louis, not a Jimmy Johns, and I understood that dealing with the public can be challenging, but that I had done none of those things and the girl was awful to me. I said you have a young person working there that has a clear disrespect towards people the age of her grandparents. She has no moral compass either and you’ve put her in charge of your store. You can’t teach someone those characteristics by telling them what you just defended in her. I will never be back to that store or perhaps any other store. I would have fired her on the spot and I can’t believe she still has her job after what I just told you happened. I tried to make myself a credible source and it’s clear that you don’t care. Bottom line: Jimmy John’s management believes their customers are all scamming for free food regardless of their so called rewards program. They are freaky fast but freaking make mistakes they don’t own up to. It’s got to be you, the customer, you’re the problem. And the

I like the taste of their sandwiches but after having a McCallister sandwich I will not go back to JJ. Very expensive and hardly any food for the $$ a big rip off.

Great folks at this location! They truly live up to the "freaky fast" moto. I came in during a busy lunch rush and they had my sandwhich ready for me pretty much as soon as I paid!

This has been my JJ’s forever and honestly the reason they rank so highly in my book: The staff is amazing. I’ve never encountered anyone there who has been nothing short of amazing. If they accidentally forget something (which has happened maybe twice in 7 years of me ordering from them, less than any other place by far and i never blame them because sometimes it happens and it’s so infrequent) they bring it to me right away or honor it the next time because I’m always going to order from them. They are just an incredible team and I’m so grateful for them. The sandwiches are super good too. We go for the food, but stay for the team. Thank you for being the best JJ’s!
