We had a fantastic experience at José Locos in Springfield! The food was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and came out hot and fast. Everything we ordered was spot on. Huge shout-out to our server Jesus, he was amazing! He went above and beyond by adjusting the menu to our liking and even took the time to speak to us in our native language, Spanish, which made us feel truly welcomed. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great food, outstanding service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back when we return to visit.

We order from here fairly frequently. We always get the same thing. We also ALWAYS place a pickup order. I left a cash tip on the bar when I picked my order up. Imagine my surprise that when the transaction updates, they charged an extra $10 to my order…
Tips should be earned. Now I have to watch my debit card in restaurant settings bc they can’t be trusted to take the correct amount. Last time I came they messed our order up and had me waiting forever for the correction.
Overall not impressed. Should save my money and eat elsewhere if they are just gonna take more off the top.

I think a good measure of a restaurant is if the food is still good even at like, 9pm. This was GOOD. And well worth the price. I paid about 17 dollars for a pretty large shrimp burrito. It was beautiful. The server was also very cool (I'm sorry I don't remember his name), and they actually removed the cilantro when I requested it! I have the gene that makes it taste like soap. I tasted zero soap.
The restaurant is also quite pretty, inside and out. I didn't feel rushed out the door like you do at some places when it's late, but they were quick about getting around to me when I was done. Very good balance.
Beautiful. 10/10. Loved it. I'm very full, and very pleased.

This place is the GO TO Mexican restaurant if your in Springfield MO. Food came out super quick on a busy Saturday night. The chicken chimi was very flavorful, our drinks were kept full and our waiter was great. The staff were literally running about the place keeping patrons happy. We love eating here and will definitely be back next time we're in town!
