We had friends from out of town and had talked up the restaurant. Called ahead to make a reservation but was told you have to be there in person. We got there checked in on 25 min wait list for the four of us. Several parties came in after us and were seated before us. After 25 minutes we finally asked why. We were told they won’t seat 4 people in a 6 person table (not sure how they knew 6 people would even come in) we continued to wait. Another group of 3 came in and were seated immediately on a 4 person table. We then Asked for manager and were told by her that people can join waitlist online. She lied. We went online to check and it clearly states not available on Sunday. She was abrupt and rude, defensive and did not Apologize. But did say “we can seat you now. Do you want to be seated”. We did sit because we knew it would be busy everywhere. Food was good but service was not friendly. Springfield has other very good breakfast spots that also care about service. Like Aviary, Bistro160, and others. We will not be back. Honestly i don’t think manager or the hostess with zero personality will care.

Loved the atmosphere! Staff was friendly and efficient. Melissa was the most perfect server. Drinks were served beautifully and were delicious. All seven of us were happy…from a ten year old to a 70 year old. Was our first time but wont be our last!!

I absolutely love this place. I go almost weekly for their breakfast/brunch. Their service is quick and friendly and the food is delicious, the coffee fresh.

A friend and I had dinner here. I had the shrimp linguini and it was decent but there was a bit too much sauce and it ended up being a little soupy. The other dish was the fried chicken and dumplings and I was told it was pretty good. We got the deviled eggs for the appetizer and those were perfect. They were a little tangy and a little spicy, not sweet at all, thank goodness. We each ordered a soda to drink and were given an ice cold can of soda and a glass of ice. The can was 3 dollars. We were asked for drinks before we had a chance to view the menu, had I know it wasn’t fountain and it was 3 bucks a can I would have just stuck with water.

I’ve eaten here twice while I was in Springfield. Food, drinks, atmosphere and service were top notch both times. Highly recommend this place!

Food was great but not enough waitresses or room to move in between tables.

We had the privilege of dining at JW's Kitchen this morning. The service and food was exceptional. There's a chef in the kitchen that is taking extra care in the details. I had the Eggs Benedict with ham, and was NOT disappointed. The brown butter hollandaise was the shining star. I will assuredly be returning. The four stars rated on the atmosphere is for the outside/patio area. I would recommend air movement options and more insect fans on every table. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Been there for brunch several times. Recently, We were very disappointed they did away with the classic breakfast wrap! They decided to replace it with a steak/ mushroom wrap that is horrible in flavor and texture! There is no hint of eggs, cheese, or anything related to breakfast... just large strips of gristly steak and mushrooms. I ate 3 bites, and couldn't eat any more. It was so disappointing. We noticed the table next to us had left almost all of their steak wrap on the plate as well. Also, VERY bland, no flavor. The other items on the menu didn't have much appeal, either. We used to LOVE this restaurant when it was Progress, and were under the impression it was very similar... but sadly it is not. The only thing we enjoyed were the tater tots and mimosas. Please bring the classic breakfast wrap back. And please do better with the biscuits and gravy that were an amazingly delicious stable when it was Progress restaurant! Sadly, we probably won't be back for the food.... maybe when we are in the mood for the mimosas only.

One of the only few restaurants in town, if not the only one, that serves a Full English Breakfast. I am truly beyond grateful that I finally enjoyed the privilege to try this dish before work today.

The best waffles I've ever had. Great servers and nice quiet place. If you go, you won't regret it. They have something for everyone.

A few weeks ago, we met friends here to have dinner on their recommendation. It was all-around one of the best meals we've had in a long time.

Great breakfast overall. Highlights were sausage gravy, cornbread waffle with pork belly. 4.5/5
