Came in to try Kai for my husband’s birthday. The sushi was delicious (I recommend the Star Wars), and our server Jana took such great care of us. She was so fun and kind, and went out of her way to answer every question we had about the menu. Even with food allergies, Jana made sure my husband had plenty of options to choose from. She made our night. We will be coming back just to see her!

Love the vibe of this place. And the food was really good. I came with a party of seven people and everybody enjoyed their food. However, the service was super slow and it was only a Tuesday evening. Had a 6 o’clock reservation and did not get our food on the table until just before 7 o’clock.I don’t know what the holdup was, but that is the only reason I would hesitate coming back.

When I go to Kai, I always have a good time because their sushi is so delicious. I’m a huge fan of sushi and this is the number one place I love to go to for it. Also, everytime my mom comes in town, this is her favorite too. We love it here. The appetizers are amazing as well. And the chicken teriyaki is one of my favorite entrees.

A bit more trendy than my middle-30s are used to but a wonderful treat. The sushi is amazing. Fun atmosphere, great to take a date you're wanting to impress. Music is medium-loud so expect to talk over it to your dining partner. Consider making reservations! But you can always eat at the bar too.Vegetarian options: There's many sushi options and it's usually possible to request a roll just without meat. Extra cucumber & avocado or something. I'm sure there were a few vegetarian options. Dishes clearly started ingredients but I don't recall if there was a specifically vegetarian menu area. But edamame!Parking: It's on the outside perimeter of the square, there's usually free street parking nearby if you don't mind walking a block or two.
