Thankful for this nice little hole on the wall breakfast spot on the Northside. Good food at reasonable prices. Not many breakfast spots on the Northside of town anymore. IHop sucks, Waffle house, Shoney's, Dennys are all gone.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! Lea, our server was super friendly and responsive to all her customers. I ordered the 3 piece Walleye which was so big that I kiddingly asked if my portions was Walleye or Whale. Lol! I was extremely impressed with how there was an excellent representation of diversity in both the staff and customers. There was a genuine air of both respect and appreciation for each other. This place is located in an old Pizza Hut building and there was ample handicap parking as well. We just really loved the feel, the friendliness and cleanliness of Kearney Street Cafe. Our carry-out portion was a meal in itself and we are really looking forward to dining her again ???.

The last 2 visits here, my food was not very.. well done. Either not completely cooked, or prepared to your standard plate served. The quality of food and preparation they put into are barely to what you'd get from your gas station kitchens. It takes a lot for me to genuinely be dissatisfied with what's being served.
Oh their chicken fried steak is delicious! Add hashbrowns and biscuits w/gravy for a comfort food coma.

Only ate there once but it was very good.Update: I have been going here as often as I am able for the past 3 years.. Had their catfish for the 1st time today, and it was really good. Everything I've tried here is wonderful, and they're always so friendly ???
