Krab Kingz Springfield

This evening, my family dined at King Krabz for the first time for my birthday. I'm VERY picky about seafood of any and all kinds. I was raised in south Mississippi where Mississippi farm raised catfish, Cajun cuisine, and seafood in general is coupled with good ole southern food.
First, the staff was great and our server was just a genuinely nice person who did a great job. That all just goes a very long way.
Second, the atmosphere was fairly basic and the music was a bit loud and I personally did not like the style (Cajun Jazzish). Since we were the only people there (no idea why that was now), I asked that they turn it down some. The reason is, it hurts my ears due to how my hearing aids are setup. I would not have asked if there was a room full, but they did it immediately.
Third, the food. The seasoning on the seafood (butter garlic/Cajun) was so very good. The only thing better would have been that the crab legs not have been a little over cooked. But it was still really good. The shrimp was the best I've had in Springfield anywhere. The wings...so good. But the best thing was the catfish fillet. I have not had catfish (real catfish) anywhere in this area that was so much as edible. Much less this good. I will go back just for the catfish.
We will be going back. I can't recommend this place as a whole any better.

Got the wings. Excellent. The customer service could have been a tid bit better. .
But soon as the owner walked out, the entire experience changed! She was great! I almost didn't want to come back. But with the owners Attitude and The fact she gave me a free sample of their crab oil sauce.I'm coming back.! Please check this place out!

The food was amazing but the service was absolutely ridiculous. Took an hour to get our food orders and took the food out to someone Who walked in after us before he even took in our food order. On top of a 20% service fee and the attitude given when we asked him why some of us had it and some of us did not.

The crab here is to die for and the service was amazing! Alicia was our server and she was incredible. Super friendly and attentive. She made our experience here great.

It is a little pricey but it is seafood. It was amazing and well worth it! Even the chicken strips was amazing. My daughter who is a picky eater even loved this place. Will be coming back.

Alicia was absolutely amazing when I stopped in my first time I wasn’t quite sure what to order but she helped me, and was super sweet. Will definitely be back to try more things soon.

Loved everything about the experience. The food was amazing, the service was great and everything was hot & fresh. Kenzie, our server was awesome and helped every time we needed anything. Will come back again and looking forward to it!!!

First time visiting. We had fish poboy and #9 fish and shrimp basket. Everything was delicious and good portions.
Kenzie was hot on it with great recommendations and great service. We will be back to try different dishes.
