La Hacienda Authentic Mexican Restaurant

Food was good but prices were about 30% higher than they're listed at online. $80 order turned into $120 at pickup after the website app crashed and I had to phone in the order. When I brought up the price difference with the older man working the drive-thru he mentioned they knew the menu was about 10 years out of date online and blamed the recent tariffs for the prices being so high.

We went there previously and loved the food. My husband got a Chile Relleno and I got the Burrito Mexicano. Again, we were not disappointed. Our waiter was very patient with us. I was hangry and couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted. Bless that man's soul. We got guac with our chips and salsa. It was freshly made. I tried his Chile Relleno and omg... By far the best I have had. Mind you I have lived in Las Vegas and LA. I could have picked a better meat for my burrito as I'm not a big fan of steak lately. But the sauces on my burrito were amazing. I just wish it had more of it. Especially the salsa Verde. Personally I prefer going here over Jose's.

We've been eating at La Hacienda for years. We've never had a bad meal there. Their food is excellent. Their chips and salsa are my favorite in town. They have a very large menu. The staff is friendly and very efficient. I just can't say enough good things about this establishment!

The best mexican food I've eaten in Springfield so far. Food is good. Service is above par. Atmosphere is fine. Prices are fantastic.

Rude! And I'm certain he is the owner! There's just no common sense in being that way. I'm surprised he has any business at all!

This is the 5th time (And Will be the Last time) I've eaten here.

2 yrs ago I had fajitas and the meal as well as service was excellent at that time.

BUT... the 2nd, 3rd & 4th times I had the fajita meal, there was a major problem with the refried beans being Extremely Salty! (I'm not on a salt restricted diet either!!)

I asked if they changed cooks and they said no. * They also disagreed with me about the saltiness!!

This Last and final time I went there and ordered the fajita meal, the beans were Not overly salty, the rice was great as usual, BUT... the fajitas had some strange tasting spice. I asked if they changed cooks and they said "No".

The folks working here haven't been very polite or friendly to me since I complained about the salty beans on prior occasions.

Well... I ended up getting really sick after eating those strangely spiced fajitas and my stomach didn't calm down for Several hours.

So suffice it to say I'm Done with this restaurant.

There's No consistency in the quality or flavor of food, and the dark atmosphere along with the unpleasant service isn't worth it to me. 😒

I learned Many years ago that my money Will spend Anywhere so I'll keep looking for a better quality of food elsewhere.

BTW. I know what Authentic Mexican food is, and know Most Mexican restaurants in Missouri aren't going to be very authentic, but I expect better than Subpar which is what I consider LA Hacienda to be.

I wish them well, but most of all I wish they had kept things the same as my 1st and Only good meal there 2 yrs ago. 😢
