Original cashew chicken recipe recipe that we used to eat at G‘s East wind when we were in the college years of 1970s early 80s. It was so good. I even bought some of the sauce that they have in jars to bring home to try at home

The waitresses are always nice. The atmosphere is not as clean as it used to be. The next generation of ownership is greedy and uncaring. The prices have gone up way too much. They charge way too much to sit in the small private area that does not cost them any more than sitting out front. You can't go there for lunch without walking out paying $20-$25 including the tip for a smaller portions. I'm sure Mr. Leong is turning in his grave knowing what he created is going down this path. The last time I was there there were only about 5 tables with customers. That will most likely be my last time patronizing that establishment. I wish them well with their future demise.

We have eaten here several times. I always get the general chicken, hot with fried rice and an egg roll. The food always comes out hot, the chicken is tender and the vegetables are fresh.

I have food allergies, Wheat, Soy, Treenuts and peanuts and they always accommodate me. I get the sweet and sour gluten free chicken with fried rice which is always good!
