I called to order food, they said phone orders were only for catering. I tried to explain that I live 30 min away and I wanted a family meal of fish. He said they were out of hush puppies, I said no worries, sub biscuits. My Mother in law came to pick it up, they were also out of gravy, and Cole slaw. So we ended up with 8 pc fish, a side of mash, and 14 biscuits for $30....and they were closing at 9pm without cause even though their website says 10pm.

Went to get lunch at 11:21 today/Friday 3/15/25 and they supposed to be open and they had the doors locked. Sadly I did not get the food I wanted and KFC/long John's silver lost about 40$ because I went elsewhere. If your short on staff or late fully opening, make sure there's a sign on the door...

I wanted some hush puppies. I had to wait on them (which they told me they were making fresh), but when I finally got them, they were the best hush puppies I had eaten in a while!

My husband and I took my grandson and my daughter to this establishment yesterday. We tried to use a coupon and they would not take it because they were not a "participating" restaurant. We spent more than we would have at a nice, non-fastfood restaurant. Also we're given our meal bagged in boxes even though we were eating in. No plates, no condiments. When we asked for plates, we were given four paper "boats" that our sides bled through. The service was horrible and for the price, was ridiculous. We will not be visiting again

Food and service was okay but it was 7 degrees hotter then hades in that restaurant, I could barely stand to wait for my food I thought I was gonna have a heat stroke. I even mentioned it to the cashier who said that she stands by the drive through window so she liked it.

More concerned with drive thru times than having actual food. I waited over 15 minutes in the parking lot with 5 other cars for 8 pieces of fish that were quoted to take 10 minutes. I went there for chicken, and they had none. It would take 30 minutes for chicken. The cars before me had waited over 45 minutes without receiving any food. When I went back to the window to check on my food, which should have been ready. I was told it would be another 5 minutes. Could I move forward again? I told them no, because no one was behind me. They told me I was going to ruin their drive thru time. I don't think that is the goal of drive thru tume. The goal is to see how long it takes to get the customer their food, not how long they are sitting at the window or how long it takes to take a person's money and move them along to wait for their food. This is the second time in 2 weeks that I have gone to a KFC in Springfield at dinner time, and they have NO bone in chicken cooked. It was amazing how quickly I got food when I wouldn't leave the window.

This store seems to close its dining room by 7 if not earlier. They did away with the buffet. Prices are outrageous. TBH its cheaper to go to Popeyes. I rarely visit here.

Not happy with LJS. First, they no longer allow you to substitute the fish for chicken even though they are the exact same price.Anyway, I went for a fish and chicken dinner. Some of the food was fine, some were extremely burned. (See photos, that's 2 pieces of chicken in the photo, see the difference)The price had gone up on this platter... it's not shown on the menu. After being told the total I know why. I asked about why it was so expensive. I pointed out I could have got two other meals, a fish and a chicken, and gotten extra sides for less money. The guy responded with "Yeah, I don't know."Ok then, great customer service! ?It's clear that LJS isn't interested in satisfied customers, only how can we get another buck from ya.

Not a bad location. The employees were very courteous and professional. The food seemed to be a little over cooked, are maybe not quite fresh but it was definitely ok for a quick afternoon meal. I had the fish and shrimp combo from the Long John Silver side.Vegetarian options: Not manyParking: PlentyKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes
