At the mall we ordered bourbon chicken. The taste was not good, watered down. We asked for additional sauce - they scooped some out of the pan. It was brown water with black flakes. It had been burned then watered down. I showed staff, but no action was taken, no offer to replace or refund. I saw other customers with bourbon chicken so I told them, trying to keep Max Orient from serving it. They were watching me and brought out another pan, lifted the bourbon chicken out of the brown burnt water and put in clean pan. Maybe they put new sauce on top of burnt chicken, but I wouldnt

Horrible. I used to LOVE Max Orient in our mall. I ordered delivery from the one on Battlefield and never again. My Meat was Raw! I got their pick 2. I ordered the angus steak with peppers and the mushroom and chicken. I took a few bites and thought the chicken and steak was kinda soft. When I looked at the steak it was kinda pink in the middle ugh and my CHICKEN...WAS...Raw! Never again. Thanks for making me sick.

The service is bad and dishonest. They said they gave me a military discount. I walked away and checked the receipt. I realized the discount wasn't applied. I came back to ask. The same person (a black guy) showed me the register screen. The register showed $9.99 plus tax. My receipt showed $9.89 plus tax. I showed him that $9.89 for bourbon chicken combo is the promo price on the price list posted on the big sign. That means the military discount wasn't applied. He then tried to lie. He said that that's not how it is. $9.99 is the price and $9.89 is the price after military discount (when the register computer doesn't show the discount at all). I said ok and walked away. Be careful with the service here. Check your receipts.

I got the blacken chicken and kung pao shrimp both are great. Also the sushi was great. I also got a smoothie (mocha smoothie) it was good too.
Over all everything was great.
Will definitely be back 🔙.

Terrible food and terrible experience. My daughter loves orange chicken. She took one bite, spit it out, and lost her appetite. The crab rangoons were brown/burnt and barely had any cream cheese. The rice had no flavor. The only edible thing we ordered was the bourbon chicken and I still spit out half of it due to tough edges. On top of that, the table was dirty and chairs were so sticky my pants stuck to them when I tried to stand up. Very sad and disappointing. Won’t be back.

I only gave it 4 stars cause the one in the mall (imo) is so much better. Other than that I have absolutely nothing bad to say. Good food as always, wasn't as fresh tasting as the mall, but we went at lunch time so could have been from the rush. But the service was quick and very friendly. The atmosphere was very welcoming and clean. Absolutely will go again, especially to avoid the mall 😅

I must say most of the time I have went to this place I've had great experiences. That was until tonight. I entered the building and then I got a phone call so I talked on my phone for about 5 minutes. During that time I was on my phone I was standing next to the door. When I was getting ready to go to the counter then the workers behind there was doing General horse play smacking each other grabbing each other. I was thinking if they do that when I'm here what do they do when I'm not here . How do they treat a customers food when a person isn't in front of them. I must say I was very disappointed in my visit and I'm not sure if I go back to this location.. this location is closer to my house but I did go to the Battlefield Mall because I was really wanting some bourbon chicken. Had the best experience there. Friendly and fast which is what I usually expected at the other location. Someone needs to talk to the workers that we're working last night. This might be the reason that I was the only one that was in there at the time. If you have cameras you can view them and see exactly what I was talking about.

We ordered a kung pao chicken and my daughter ordered orange chicken. The noodles were very dry and tasted like fish. The orange chicken didn’t even taste or look like orange chicken. Was not good. The kung pao chicken noodles were bad tasting and the chicken was not good at all. I’m not sure it was even chicken. Won’t be back that is for sure. I paid them $25 for food that awful. I hate that! Very disappointed.
