I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I need to share what happened today at the McDonald's on Campbell and Sunshine near Bass Pro in Springfield, MO.

A young manager named Bri called the police on a Latino customer over what should have been a simple service issue. The customer had ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with no bread through the drive-through and requested a fork, which wasn't provided. When he came inside to get the fork he'd asked for, he requested a complimentary ice cream cone for the inconvenience of having to come in. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, the manager asked him to leave and then called the police. The customer was arrested and banned from the restaurant despite the fact that the staff had made the initial mistake.

I had to go pick up his car afterward and went inside to ask what happened. This response was completely disproportionate to the situation and raises serious concerns about discrimination. A customer should not be arrested and banned for simply trying to receive the service they requested.

I would recommend choosing one of the many other McDonald's locations in the area until this matter is properly addressed.

Very terrible experience. Staff couldn’t walk a mobile order to the drive through and I had to go inside with a sprained ankle.

I don’t know if this McDonald’s has just is always under staffed but every time I do the curbside pick up here it takes like 20 minutes to get my food. Today I ended up having to go inside after 20 minutes. They haven’t even started my order yet. 30 people in the drive-through had already gone through. Tried to call the store no one answered, and the best part of it is half of my food was cold because it was just sitting there waiting for the rest to get put in a bag and taken outside.
Edit and a sausage biscuit wasn’t even there. Found that out when home

Filthy Filthy Filthy. No clean tables, Lines backed up past the drink station! Gross! No ice in the drink stations either! And half their sodas were out of flavor! Food took forever, and was mediocre for a mcdonald’s. Cold fries, and generally bad.

Nastiest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Not only are they slow, they can’t get your order right. And good luck getting napkins , ice cream (broken every time) or hot fries! My McRib had Andy Bbq sauce on it. Never again!

Sat at the drive through speaker for a bit in the rain with my window down and three cars passed through the other line…. So I placed my order on the mobile app AND pulled around before anyone even came over the speaker. This is the third time. Thankfully ChikFilA next door has excellent breakfast. :)

I ordered mobile order and then asked my husband to pick it up. I gave him the code and which in the mobile order policy and instructions say head to the store with your code to pick up. They refused to give him our food because my mobile device was not close enough for them to hand our food to him. This is after standing in line for 20 minutes waiting to be greeted by anyone. The staff was very rude, refused to listen to anything he said and walked away while he was trying to get a better understanding of the situation. We order the same way every weekend when we come to Springfield to visit our grandkids. The service is horrible and I will be contacting the corporate office because this was not what the policy stated on website and if this McDonald's runs it's business under different policy then McDonald's has set for it's franchises they need to be aware because they are failing to follow the franchises customer service policies! If your looking for fast food this is not the spot to spend your money! The employee that came to the desk was a also dirty with dirt cakes under their nails which is against food safety laws. The health department should probably inspect this place to know whether the doors should remain open!

I would prefer to give negative stars. My husband and I went through drive through and was told $10.35 at the screen and then when we got to the window we were told $15.70 for two McChicken sandwiches and two double cheeseburger sandwiches. When we questioned the cashier she read back some order with a large Dr pepper on it and we said no ma'am we only had four sandwiches and they were buy one get one for a dollar she then said hold on a second and came back and told us our total was still $15. We said no thank you left that location and went to the location on S Campbell and I understand that there will be a price fluctuation between different stores. Our total for the exact same order was $7.76.... that seems like a little bit more than a price fluctuation.

We ordered a happy meal and a medium fries 🍟 as well. The total wait at the drive thru was over 15 minutes. Felt closer to 30. First windows forgot we ordered medium fries as well. 2nd window we got our food, and waited to get the apple juice for the happy meal. When we were home we noticed there were no apple slices in the happy meal, instead was small fries. My medium fries container was barely over halfway full.

That long of a wait for awful food is ridiculous. Will not return to this location.
