Mexican Villa South

I have been a huge Mexican Villa fan my whole life. In my opinion this is the best location. The food is great. The employees are great and the only thing negative that I want to mention is they need to invest some money into their booths. The seat part is so uneven and moves down so far when you sit the table is almost at your neck 🤣 ok so I exaggerated that part but it's bad, and my tailbone and back were in really rough shape for several days after sitting in that booth!

I'm not a real Mexican food person, my wife is, they have good service, friendly servers, good price, fast service, clean atmosphere. Would recommend.

Wow. The same as I remember it. Great service. Excellent atmosphere and food. Half plates are a great. You can enjoy other sides with them and not be painfully full.

The restaurant esthetically is cool, but is by far the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. So bad, I actually felt compelled to write a review. They also forgot about seating us, the chips and salsa are terrible- the salsa is like water, and then brought 2 of the 3 people the wrong thing. My stomach was hurting after a few bites. Truly everyone at the table agreed it was the worst Mexican food they’d ever had without a doubt. Pretty crazy that the palace was busy!

Great atmosphere, staff was very friendly. Our waiter, Gabe, was phenomenal! This was my first time having the sweet sauce and I highly recommend it. Will definitely be back.

Great time and food. Great place.

Food was actually disgusting. What a poor excuse of a restaurant. How are people still coming here! The only good thing about this place was the decorations. The chips were stale cold and tasteless, the salsa resembled Jell-O as far as appearances, the burrito enchilada style was tasteless and more of a soupy bean plate then anything else, The quesadilla had no melted cheese They just lumped on some queso and called it good

Food is always good. We get takeout and sit with an aunt at the assisted living home. Today we asked for extra sweet sauce and mild sauce. No hot sauce. We got sweet and hot, no mild.

This place sucks my strawberry margaritas was not frozen tasted like pink lemonade food was horrible it’s not made fresh it’s all frozen tamales look like protein bars they use ground beef in everything no shredded beef I would not waste my time or money went on Father’s Day boo hoo will never return

I ordered a taco salad. It was all lettuce. Very little meat, cheese and toppings. There was no sour cream, no guacamole, salsa on the salad.

Love this place! Great food! Great service.

Kid-friendliness: Great for kids. Brought my 3 year old and 1 year old granddaughters with us.
