I am writing this to only in hopes helping this business. 1st, I googled best BBQ in Springfield, and this had highest ratings and I had not tried it. I got the two-meat combo brisket and pulled pork. portions fell short in my opinion. 3 pcs of brisket had a little fat on edge a little in pork (somewhat normal) I am guessing about 3oz each. I ride a motorcycle and have hit BBQ places all over SW Missouri and NW Arkansas. I consider myself knowing good BBQ. With that being said, there are rules for BBQ places. One, never serve a size that leaves someone leaving not Full! Real BBQ people will not come back. Two, you cannot be second best when BBQ people know there is a better place, they will go to the better place until they find one better, then that place will fall second, and they will not return. returning to my addressing portion size, when you google BBQ places all over (don't matter where) and look at images you see a tray full of food not a small portion size. and for $16 the amount is definitely short. again, never serve a size that leaves a person not full. most BBQ places if anything you cannot eat it all. I am not saying this place is bad, but there is definitely better in this town. I give them 2 stars for serving size for the price and brisket little dry with fat. 2nd highest rated in this town you will find absolutely zero fat in the brisket and moist every single time. I forgot to mention the side, pit beans. Portion size on that is fine, they are also ok, there’s better but they are ok, especially if someone doesn’t like them over spiced up as some BBQ places do.In reply back: If you cut it to give me 6 slices it would be 1/16 to 1/8 thick, because what I got was about 1/8 to 3/16 uneven cut. You obviously are ok with your portion size and that's fine. Being in the BBQ business you should know that TRUE BBQ people do not compare you to eating at McDonalds vs Burger King. When I go for BBQ it's not which BBQ tonight! because true BBQ people know you do not settle for a lesser when you know there's a better! Pit Masters are prideful in what they do. Do yourself a favor and compare your own brisket to Smokin Bob's!

Worst experience ever! I have never been to a restaurant that was sold out of so much. It's like Arby's being sold out of roast beef. Let me tell you, the bad reviews of this place speak for themselves. The bathroom was worse than my most recent Walmart experience which was bad enough. The whole place reeked of old food. While I was eating the food, a very large insect jumped out of it. And when I complained, all I got was, and I quote "What the hell do you mean a Peter Pan Peanut Butter alert?!"
