First time coming in and the bakery was still open. Once I started browsing at the selection, the worker started turning off the bakery lights and had a sour look on her face and didn't say anything. Felt out of place and unwelcomed so I won't be going back.

A fun little place for tea and tiny sandwiches, sweet treats, or a little something more substantial. The atmosphere and decor are what make this place special. Nestled inside a boutique with fun items to browse , it is a great place to spend the afternoon with friends.

This place is a very unique experience. A must try if you ask me. No 20 page menu but many extraordinary selections. The staff was outstanding. The amount of treasures you can find is unbelievable. Whatever you do, get dessert... Take it home if you have to.

This place was recommended by a friend. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was delightful. This is a very unique tea room. There are lots of choices on the menu: sandwiches, soups, salads, quiche and crepes. They also offer a High Tea option on a 3 tier stand. Lots of hot tea choices as well. I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich with strawberry soup. Both were delicious. The decor is unique and fun. The baked goods were beautifully displayed in a glass case. So many truffles to choose from. This would be a lovely place for a get together or shower. It made the perfect ending to our girls' werkend. They have unique gift items for sale as well as some antiques. Allow time for eating and shopping.

Every other cake joint in Springfield is behind Gilmore's. My GF is a cake aficionado so when I'm in the dog house this is my "get out of jail free" slice for her.

This is the perfect unique spot to do a girl's lunch! Not only is their food (and desserts) delicious, but the quaint decor is very Alice in Wonderland-esqe. Vintage style glasses, crafty chandeliers, and vintage couches for seating adds to the charm. If you want to do a bit of C-Street shopping, about a third of Ms Gilmore's is fully stocked with clothes, candles, elaborate hats, and more. Scope out the dessert case before getting seated so you can be ready to split it with friends or request to take it home. I highly recommend any of their brownies. Other food recommendations: mushroom soup if you love garlic, Monte Cristo or the ham panini if you want to avoid the deep fried calories, chicken salad croissant. I've had more on the menu and haven't had a dud. The only con to this place is parking so try to car pool!EDIT: I still love everything about this place. I will add another food recommendation, the cucumber salad. It has a creamy tangy sauce that compliments the cucumbers well.Vegetarian options: Veggie sandwich and salad optionsParking: If you can't find a spot on C-Street, try the public parking lots south of the road.Kid-friendliness: Not a place for young kids who can't help touching shiny things or sit for the whole time.
