I purchased a latte from the Mudhouse in Ozark on my way to work in Springfield. The milk tasted spoiled, so I stopped by the Mudhouse in Springfield with my latte & explained this to an employee. He said. "I have to charge you for something". I asked him if this Mudhouse is managed by the same people and he said yes. I then asked why he would have to charge me when the cream is bad? He replied, "Because it is managed by different people and it's not my responsibility". I was very surprised at his reply when both locations are owned by the same people. I will not be coming back.

I love the days I get to start my workday here. Music is low, staff is great, wifi is fast, and of course - the coffee and breakfast items are wonderful. I like the Frozen Mudturtle and The Nigel with bacon (pictured) to start my day. Sometimes, I also get their GIANT blueberry muffins (the crumble on top is *chefs kiss*) There are vegetarian options available too!

This is a fun little coffee shop that’s located downtown that has a really cool atmosphere that you’d expect from a downtown coffee shop. There are several tables and they have games that you can play as well. The coffee is very good as is the hot tea. we tried the peanut butter cookie tonight and it was amazing.Parking: Parking is a little hard to find. It’s a busy part of downtown, but there are two parking garages not far from the coffee shop.

Absolutely a must visit when in Springfield, MO !!! Long layout for that old school coffeehouse feel. Music is palatable and lower level for lots of background talking white noise. Plenty of seating for 2, 3, or 4+.Coffee is roasted in-house, and the latte I had was perfect. The food menu is smaller but ample for most appetites including a vegetarian breakfast burrito I had. Homemade donuts and cookies are something I bought that I’ll take home for the family to decide on.Staff was very friendly, prompt, and great at being busy without seeming rushed and / or frustrated. Definitely coming back when in town again!Dietary restrictions: Some vegan, vegetarian and gluten free optionsParking: 9:30am on a Thursday was wide open

It was certainly a coffee shop. They had coffee and it tasted like coffee. If you're looking for a coffeehouse experience, this is a place where that can be found.

I came back here for the first time in about two years this past weekend(due to distance preventing me from coming sooner, or I would have!) and it was everything I remember! It smells amazing in there and the employees were extremely friendly and welcoming. Spent about 25$ for two people, which isn’t bad at all for the quality of the food and drinks here. My wrap and frozen coffee were absolutely delicious. We ordered the food for dine in at first, but then realized there were no tables available, so we had to change it to take out after we had ordered and the staff was very understanding and helpful and they got it taken care of. I wish we could have dined in but apparently, Mudhouse attracts a ton of college students who like to sit at the tables while doing homework on their computers. Which is fine of course, it has a great atmosphere for studying I guess. I just noticed that most of them didn’t even have food or a drink next to them so it was a little frustrating having to take my food and drinks away from Mudhouse because there was no room to sit. But this is in no way Mudhouse’s fault. It’s those darn college kids lol. Hopefully on a less busy day I’ll be able to come back and enjoy the atmosphere myself while also enjoying the amazing food and coffee!I highly recommend coming here if you enjoy great food and even better coffee!I had their Curry Chicken Wrap(like I did 2 years ago because I am obsessed) and the frozen Grasshopper and it was absolutely delicious.Their smoothies are also REALLY good, I just haven’t had one in a very long time, but I doubt their smoothie quality would change for the worse, since everything else is as good as I remember!Thank you to every employee there, y’all went above and beyond and kept a smile on even though it was pretty packed in there.Vegetarian options: The reason I say somewhat recommend is because they offer tofu options for all the dishes, but I myself am not vegetarian, so I’m unaware of vegetarian standards, and my date was pescatarian, but they enjoyed the tofu as a substitute on the sandwich very much! I do believe they offer tofu as a substitution for any of their dishes without any up charges.Dietary restrictions: My date asked for tofu as a substitution on I think the Cali Sandwich due to a dietary restriction, and they didn’t up-charge for it and my date said it was really good tofu and that it went well with the sandwich!

Was recommended to go here by a local in the city. Let me tell you what. The turtle cheesecake paired with a latte called the “sugar daddy” will certainly knock your socks off. I can’t even describe the emotions I felt in words, it was a Devine experience. Also there was a sign for cereal!? Delectable.

Used to love this place. I have been coming here for over 10 years, since freshman year in college. Used to recommend it to everybody, and always tried to support them, and our local coffee shops. Then came to find out mudhouse mocks and hates the military and everybody in it. If you are in the military, veteran, or a supporter and love this country go somewhere else.I heard it straight from the workers, mocking the military and making hateful comments. This place lost my support and respect. Absolutely disgusted at mudhouse. I have always been so respectful to everybody in there. I never really write negative reviews. But this is unacceptable.
