This has been my favorite bar for years, I’ve just never thought to write a review! I’ve never had bad service here, the wait staff are always friendly, helpful and have helped put me on to some of my favorite new drinks. I love having a bar that I can go out to with friends or go work on my laptop and enjoy a beer in peace alone. I have always felt safe at this bar, MudLounge has always been welcoming to queer folks and is a needed space in Springfield.
They have a lovely selection of unique craft beers that rotate seasonally, I am always finding new ones that I like!

Was told I could not be there because I was 20, and not 21. I was there for a friends birthday, and was not planning on drinking anything except water…in my hydroflask that I brought with me. But the table next to us had a 13 year old boy and when we asked why I could not be there but the boy could- they said he could because his parents were there with him. Very stupid.

Loved this place, the environment was great and the drinks were very tasty as well. We got their version of an espresso martini and a bananas foster old fashioned and both drinks were delicious. But what really makes this place is the environment. Late at night it is very intimate and a very chill relaxing environment after a long night out. Will be back.

I’ve always spoken highly of MudLounge, so I was excited to visit again for a bachelorette party. Unfortunately, this visit did not live up to past experiences.
Our group of six ordered one fishbowl, but the staff accidentally brought two. We started drinking from both before they came back and took one away—without an apology or even asking if we wanted to keep it. It felt abrupt and unprofessional.
Later, one of us accidentally unplugged an outlet near the couches, but we plugged it back in within seconds. Despite this, the waiter immediately cut us off and said we’d only be served water. This was shocking, considering we had been there for less than 10 minutes, and the waitress had barely checked on us.
Overall, the lack of professionalism and hospitality made for a disappointing experience. I’ve always enjoyed MudLounge in the past, but after this visit, I won’t be in a hurry to return.

It is a lovely upscale bar/coffee place. It tends to be a younger punk to college crowd. Good service. Good atmosphere. Haven't tried their food, but every drink is good if a little pricey.
The outside area is nice for chatting, smoking, and socializing more than inside.

I absolutely love mudlounge & the cocktails they offer. On the downside service its always extremely slow service & not very friendly… I especially get it whenever they are really busy as I am in the service industry myself, but when you sit at a bar for 30 minutes with an empty drink and no one will even look at you.. My friend & I go to mudlounge every Saturday night and the waitress was telling everyone tonight last call at 12:30 and shutting off all the lights when they close at 1:30 and when I asked if they were closing early she said no but they always do last call an hour before close, even though I’ve been there every weekend and it just seemed as they didn’t want stay until close because they weren’t busy… Very upsetting because I do love this place.

Great place for cocktails, especially of the coffee variety. They change their cocktails every season so it's a great place to come back to throughout the year if you love to try different cocktails.
Love this coffee bar. Great selection and delicious drinks. The fondue is also great!

UPDATE: Lying about your customers. Classy. I paid for a drink I was never served, plus a good tip. Then your waiter acted like a jerk anyway.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you want to be left waiting 20 minutes for a draft beer on a slow night, tip generously on every tab nonetheless, and still be treated with downright hostility by a snobbish and arrogant wait staff, MudLounge is the spot for you.

Rating 4.5/5 The fondue is fantastic! Portion sizes will not disappoint and the food prices are reasonable. If you’re there at a busy time you may have to wait a short time to get service. It can also get quite loud. These are minor inconveniences as the food is well worth it. There are also a variety of seating options including couches and tables. If you’re a fan of cheese and drinks, definitely recommend this restaurant.
