One of the best atmospheres in Springfield! Super comfortable seating and absolutely delicious, unique food. Excellent service, and I loved the outdoor terrace with fountains — a perfect area to walk around or play with kids.

I have never left Ocean Zen disappointed. Service was nothing to compare to the past. We ordered an appetizer and never received it. We ordered a Caesar salad to split and received it well into our meal. We said no thank you. I ordered a specialty hot tea. The cost was $7 dollars. Apparently, you no longer get a little tea pedal with additional hot water. So basically I had one cup of hot tea for $7. The macadamia nut chicken was great as usual. The sushi was not as good as usual … bland.

We tried to make an order over the phone for sushi rolls for my kids to enjoy, strike 1 is their website was not accurate for their pricing, they initially quoted us $150 over the phone for 5 rolls and 2 appetizers, so we attempted to reduce the amount and apparently removing one sushi roll brought the order down to less than $80 which made no sense, they don't sell a $70 roll.
Then to add to the sneaky confusion these scammers charged my card twice when I arrived to pay for my order. This is going to be disputed.
Icing on the cake was they forgot an item in my order, and looked at me crazy when I walked back into the store to request the missing item. Luckily they did fix that, but the attitude was not appreciated.
Finally, the sushi tasted the same as any Chinese buffet or grocery store pre-made sushi. Mediocre at best. I can't speak to the other items on the memu. But the sushi was not worth it especially for the price

I had the Sea Bass as I have had several times before over various years of eating at Ocean Zen. I have yet to have a bad dining experience at this restaurant. The food is extremely consistent and taste amazing! There are several higher end restaurants in Springfield and I solidly recommend Ocean Zen as a reliably great dining experience. Enjoy!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Ocean Zen is truly a gem. Chef Johnson brings creativity and care to every dish and it shows from the moment the food arrives at the table. The presentation is beautiful! The Salmon Ocean Zen bento box was flavorful and perfectly balanced, and the sashimi was so fresh it just melted in my mouth. On top of that, Chef Johnson himself came by to say hi and check on us, which made the whole experience feel even more welcoming.
I highly recommend Ocean Zen, hands down one of the best spots in Springfield! 🙌
