Never again.
Two weeks ago, we drove 45 minutes only to be told they wouldn’t seat us after 7:30—even though we had called ahead and were told they closed at 8. We showed up at 7:35 and were turned away.
We decided to give them another chance today, but it was just as disappointing. The cook seemed rushed, and portions were tiny. My wife didn’t get any noodles, with barely any vegetables or rice. Our plates looked like kids’ meals. We were also told there were no appetizer shrimp because the truck didn’t come—but they were serving shrimp and steak entrées.
We’ve been coming here for over 15 years and have always left with enough food for a second meal. Not today. We actually had to stop at McDonald’s afterward just to get full.
The manager did discount part of the bill, but it didn’t make up for what we received.
At this point, I guess it’s Hinode from here on out

Amazing food and truly the best service we’ve had in over a year! Noah, our waiter, kept our glasses filled before we even noticed and cleared plates without interrupting us. Mr. Pam is THE chef to ask for—the food was absolutely mouthwatering, with huge portions that left us beyond satisfied. Highly recommend!

Great food and amazing service. We also appreciated that they were open on Sunday. You get the typical teppanyaki experience here with generous portions and quality cuts of steak.

The place seems like it's not well maintained, kinda like a good power washing (which it could use) would take most of the paint off the building. The food was good, but the chef was unenthusiastic not performing any of the tricks they usually do, probably because there were only two of us at the table.

We got there a little later in the evening. They immediately seated us and quickly took our order. The chef was amazing and everything was seasoned perfectly !!!

Great brunch location and one of the few Asian restaurants open on Sunday in SGF. Generally quite busy with little wait for the hibachi grills and similar for the sushi side of the restaurant (where you can get hibachi, just not in front of the grill and quicker). Friendly staff and locally owned. Lunch menu is no longer avail on Sunday which means a higher dinner menu cost.
Dietary restrictions: Had a member of the family with a shellfish allergy... No problem, prepared the meal in the kitchen away from the seafood.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love the entertainment.

Plentiful amount of food lacking flavor. People were nice, but it's a one and done. Show was lacking and less than memorable. Sorry to say I don't need to go back.

Excellent hibachi & sushi! This is a family favorite in Springfield.
Kid-friendliness: The kids portions are huge! My son is a big eater & he loves this place. He still comes home with leftovers from his hibachi kids meal.

Strongly disagree with the 4.4 avg. Review5 for sure went night before my bday was celebrating a bit had few drinks and the NY strip steak and shrimp never been before and it was amazing everyone was friendly drinks weren't expensive and my steak was amazing over all was the highlight of my birthday I nver leave a review anywhere but was great
