Outback Steakhouse

I’ve been to plenty of Outback Steakhouses, but this one in Springfield, MO, takes the top spot. The service was outstanding, thanks to Ms. Kaarina and Ms. Taylor.

From the moment we walked in, Ms. Kaarina made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. She didn’t just seat us and move on—she checked in multiple times, which was a nice touch.

Ms. Taylor, our server, was just as great. She had fantastic recommendations and really made sure we were enjoying everything. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about the experience, and she absolutely did.

Easily the best Outback experience I’ve had. If you’re in Springfield, don’t skip this place—you won’t regret it!

We had 9 people and they only have tables can will seat 7. We got told it was going to be a 30 min wait, which was fine. But then our table got freed up 5 mins after waiting then when we all ended up waiting 40 min to get seated. They told us they was under staffed when really they probably just didnt want to pay overtime. Then it took them another 30 min to take our order. Then we waited an hour to even get our food. And when we did get our food more than half of us couldn't even eat the food.

This place really struggled. There's barely any art on the wall. There's not a lot that even makes it seem like an Outback. The people were nice but the host had a toothpick in his mouth, which was kind of gross and weird

I took my husband there for his birthday dinner.
We checked in with the hostess, and I asked how long the wait is she states 25 to 30 minutes, so I asked my husband in front of her if that was fine it's his birthday. My husband said it's was fine, so she placed us on the list.
Got a text at 4:56 pm.
We waited.. people kept coming in and getting seated before us, so at 5:35, I went up and asked another hostess where we were on the list she informed me we had atleast another 15 to 20 minutes there was 5 a head of us.
I was confused, so I asked how 30-minute wait time just become a 50 minutes, she informed me that the other had called in .
NO WHERE ON THE WEB SITE DOES IT SAY YOU NEED A RESERVATION...
So we decided to leave, and within a minute of us walking out got a text our table is ready...😡
SO NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!

They were seating more customers than the servers could keep up. The meal was decent but if it wasn't for the specials the food wasn't worth the prices.

The worst service in all of Spfld... Blooming Onion was burnt kept having to ask other people for refills... the Mgr in the SALMON shirt slammed my water on the table when I asked if he could get me a refill. Food was the best part of my visit. And what sucked is I always wanted to try this place.

One of the best meals we have had in quite awhile in Springfield. The steak I had was cooked to perfection! The service was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

Had a reservation and told the hostess she said it will be just a few minutes. We sat down and waited, and waited for almost a half an hour. I went back to the hostess and she had forgotten us. It was another 5 minutes and much conversations with other employees she gave the menus and to another girl who sat is at our table. The server was amazing, the food was a little to done for our taste. We will return, however, I hope you can tell the staff to be more attention on the customers and their place in the seating line.

Hour and a half wait to get in. hour and a half to get our food steak was crap. Our server would ask if we needed anything and then wouldn't return would have to ask several times. Messed my order up. Been in the past no issues not sure what happened. Oh and the TV commercial they advertise they do not offer.

This passed for a 6oz sirloin steak. And we were told all the new ones came in like that. It had a weird texture and old flavor. Definitely sad how far downhill this place has gone.
