Great local place with lots of variety. Visiting area and looking for simple but good Mexican options. Purple Burrito did not disappoint. Appears to be family run with friendly counter service. Extensive menu with lots of options. We had daily special (fish tacos) and a chicken burrito. Both were delicious. Burrito was so big we had to take half home for later. Clean, nice family atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Great food for a great price. Found this place on a recommendation from the hotel within walking distance. So, super convenient if traveling and don't feel like getting back in a car. We had a carnitas burrito, which was huge! And my husband ordered something specially made with shredded beef, which was also a large serving. Both were delicious! They do serve beer in bottles, which after a 9-hour day on the road was great ...ice cold! We were too full to eat the chips and queso, but will say, they weren't that great anyway. Other than that, ...No complaints and if ever in Springfield again...will definitely be back!!

Food is pretty good. Recommend the fish tacos or burrito. Stay away from the guacamole. It's flavorless and texture of whipped cream. Stale store bought chips.

This place is essentially enhanced fast food. Bar service is slower than the kitchen. Food was edible, service very poor. You have to walk up to order and get your own food even though it takes 10 steps for service staff to deliver it to your table.
If you want a quick meal, save money on a tip, and get a margarita (eventually) this is an ok place, but I will not be returning.
