Placed an online order for this location (thinking it would be fine as I’d done the order before at another location) and am not happy with any part of this experience. I didn’t receive multiple parts of my order and when I called to see what they could do to fix the issue got really nowhere and to add to it the girl who answered was really rude.

The first time I tried this location I tried giving some grace to the workers because it was around 8-9 pm. I understand working these types of jobs can feel boring, but there was absolutely no standard for the workers. First time me and my partner walked in we were stared at by the workers. No smiles or even a “hello.” We proceeded to be ignored for minutes on end. No one asked if we were ready. They faced away from us, even grabbing little sample cups for themselves- ignoring us.
Today, I went back to get some lunch and had a worker just stare at me. No guiding along the bar, no questions. Sloppily putting rice, beans, and extras into this bowl. In the sloppy process they were dropping said items into other containers. I went up to the register, they pulled up my total, I went to pay but it wasn’t on the pay screen BUT the worker had already pulled out their phone not paying attention to my two attempts at trying to pay so I could just go home and eat. The stale atmosphere and interactions (lack there of at this point) push me to not want to come back to this location :/

Halloween BOGO time! Kimbrough location not the best in terms of parking or nice area of town. It is close to Missouri State University and downtown/"the square". With the increased homeless population and the store surrounded by Burrell mental health facilities nearby, I've found myself dodging colorful characters on the sidewalk many times to and from Qdobaa's front door. Not the workers fault, of course, they do a good job of preparing your food despite the area's lack of ambiance.

Parking: You are going to have to walk a minimum of 30 yards to get to the front door. So take this into account during bad weather.

TL;DR:
Food had been out for a WHILE-stale and tasted spoiled. All foods were mixed with others. Two out of the three employees hid in the back. Flies in the restaurant topped it all off. An embarrassment to the QDOBA brand.

I’ve been to many QDOBAs, and they are always good. This was a gross exception.

There were three employees present. One decided to take a break while I was standing there, waiting to be served. The employee helping the other customer was clearly very tired and not trying. There was a third employee, who kept coming out, but not helping.

The employee serving the food kept saying things like “I’m new” and “I don’t want my boss to be mad, so I have to give small portions” and “I’ve been working all day, sorry.” She was, for the most part, polite, but did not handle the food well. She smeared the queso all over the container, as she was scooping it haphazardly. She did the same with the guaca.

The food: not good.

The tortillas were very clearly stale when she took them out of the bag, and were still stale after she cooked them. The ground beef (and everything else) had been sitting out for a very long time. It tasted spoiled.

The restaurant was not well kept, and all the toppings were mixed in with each other. The cheese utensil had guac all over it, so she just used her fingers (thank goodness she wore gloves). None of the employees wore hats or hairnets.

When I went to get my drink, there were no straws. When I asked for one, the girl, serving another customer now, stated they don’t give them out because the lids don’t need them.

There were flies flying around the overhead signs for the food, which were stained with all sorts of things.

I’d give 0 stars for service if I could. I placed an order through the QDoba website for delivery. I ordered extra brown rice which you have to pay for. I received my order and had NO rice at all. I called and let them know and asked if I could get my rice. They said sure you can come pick it up. I’m at work which is why I had it delivered. They said they aren’t a delivery service. Okay then I’d like a refund since I paid for extra rice. The answer I got is that the rice is free when you order the bowl so we can’t refund it. EVEN THOUGH I PAOD FOR EXTRA RICE!

They always greet me with a smile! So impressed with how fast they get you through the "make your own burrito/bowl" section! This location is very well kept and clean!

Kid-friendliness: My children love eating here and they have always been super patient in letting my kids (4 years old and 2 years old) order for themselves!

I’ve been a Qdoba ride or die fan for quite some time, always come in here and order stuff.

However, I’ve been noticing my family has been getting food poising every time we eat here, another thing is I just got food poising eating my order today.

QDOBA needs to do a better job of keeping food contamination, and checking food quality as well. Loved the employees; but I’m looking at burrito concepts at this, it needs to stop.
