The catfish andcollar greens were some of the best I have ever had. Fish was temperature hit, flaky, moist and the coating light and crisp. The only downside is only 3 tables, but it us a must try for everyone.

If you want some good home cooking in Springfield Missouri, this is THE place to go. Wonderful people running the place and some of the best food I've ever had.

Food is amazing highly recommend fresh made home style soul food

I've been stationed in a bunch of different states, I'm originally from Memphis, TN so having soul food is rare. Most people miss the mark, but not here!!! I had the fried pork chops, collard greens and yams with a side of cornbread. This was the best soul food I've had in a very long time, felt like big mama made this food. Definitely got a long term customer here!!!

One of the best meals I've had in a long time.... Rick the chef was in there putting in work.... he needs to be the highest paid chef in the business.... everything was delicious but his Award winning meatloaf is the best I've ever had

What a great find while visiting Missouri. Fried wings were amazing and totally satisfied my fried chicken craving. Enjoyed the mac n cheese and spaghetti. Sweetest people too. And for the first time ever, I had collard greens that tasted amazing. They converted me so definitely try them. I will for sure when I'm in MO again.

Amazing soul food! We tried just about everything; fried chicken, catfish, meatloaf, oxtails, mac n’ cheese, collard greens, yams, and cornbread. The chicken and catfish were seasoned perfectly, the meatloaf melted in your mouth, and the gravy on the oxtails made them worth it. Mac n’ cheese and collard greens were the stars, and the cornbread was moist and sweet. Everything hits, we’ll definitely be back!
