From the Smokey Old Fashioned, Flash dried spinach, Salmon cakes, surf-n-turf, sea bass, and tiramasu! My wife and I have never had every aspect of our dinner blow our minds like this!!! Dined at Retro for the first time this evening with a group of 12. Madelyn L gave us amazing, attentive, and caring service. She truly made me feel so special on my birthday. This being our first experience, we left so excited for the next time we get to dine. The ribeye and short ribs were so delicious, and the presentation on all plates was beautiful detailed.

I come to springfield to visit family.Always trying to find a place that has good drinks and food and atmosphere.Where I'd feel comfortable since I usually go out alone. I found this place and so happy I did. Jake the bartender was wonderful from the time I walked in the door till I left. Food and drinks were great. Think I found my spot when I visit Springfield.
We enjoyed our dinner there so much and we will be back! Our waitress Jessica was so friendly and wrote everything down ahead of time since we were deaf and that impressed us! Calamari was pretty good, just a bit too salty for us. Salmon cakes, oh myyy!! My hubby couldn’t have enough of these! I ordered maple salmon and my hubby ordered Alaskan halibut. My hubby loved that dish, so did I! I kept taking some bites of his halibut, it was soo unbelievably delicious!! Mine was pretty good, maybe tone down on salt.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. Heard good things. We have tried it twice now and left both times feeling disappointed. The first time I ordered the filet medium and it came out way too rare. By the time I sent it back and it came back to me I couldn’t even stomach it. The second time I tried the chicken Caesar wrap. I asked for fried chicken and it came grilled, and the Caesar sauce was way too strong. The waitress took my bread before I was finished also. We might try it again and order something else but 0/2 right now.

Decent food , limited selection for the hours open. Drinks under poured and over priced. Def banking on the bar mark up and location. Plenty of other places in same area not trying to mark up the check. Not worth the price. Don't waste your time.
