The first time I came here was for a truck meet up. I brought my dog, Forest, and while we were getting delicious breakfast and hot chai teas, super cheap for how big it was, the owner introduced himself and asked if Forest could be on their instagram! It made our day. Every time we go back the food, service, and atmosphere is great. It’s making me hungry thinking about it.

Wheelchair accessibility: There may be a step from the sidewalk, past that it’s flat into the building. In the shopping mall there’s got to be ramp per ADA Act

Cute local coffee shop! Great variety for the whole family; my son got a strawberry banana smoothie (which he said was delicious) and I got a flat white with heavy cream. The large is HUGE and way better tasting than the evil empire's equivalent. Relaxing environment with plenty of seating and tables. Would definitely visit here again!

Took some toys in for a boston I helped rescue and got an amazing Cherry blossom tea. I am very picky on my hot teas and it was so good. Really even didnt need sugar.

I absolutely can not say enough amazing things about this place! The staff is so kind and understanding. The food and smoothies are beyond amazing! I love this place so much and enjoy going every payday for breakfast!

Roots had the best breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches (and quiche)! There are other options to eat but I'm sticking with the burritos; they are the best in the area. They have a wide variety of both hot and cold drink options, the staff is pretty friendly, the owner seems like a really nice guy. The only two issues I can see are, 1.- they aren't open later in the day (coffee bar/makes sense) and 2.- they run out of seating at busier times. Neither issues are bad. And if that's the only thing I can come up with, that's pretty good! :-)
If you haven't tried Roots, I highly recommend them!

Most amazing coffee and food! We have been coming to Roots for years every time we pass through Springfield.The staff are always on their A-game, and take the time to get to know their customers. I recommend going in with a good book or friend, get a Roots Brew, and enjoy yourself!
