Sakura Japanese Sushi Bar & Grill

Let me start by saying our visit was on Christmas. The restaurant was very busy, beyond busy. The staff worked hard to meet the needs of each customer. Was it perfect, no. Was there a wait? Yes. But we still had a good time. The flaming sushi roll was a highlight. This little place will always have a special place in my heart.

The food was good, but below average for what I would expect at a similar restaurant. The service was less than stellar. While the servers were very friendly, it took over 30 minutes to get out drinks ordered, and we had been there over an hour and a half before we received our food.

Fresh sushi and amazing environment ❤️ definitely kid friendly too

Kid-friendliness: High chair and booster seats available on request, I definitely recommend splitting with the kids adult meals due to the fact they really don’t have anything else besides sushi

The food was great for the price. My dad and I came here for lunch after discovering our favorite restaurant was closed, and we were pleasantly surprised. While it’s not top-tier sushi, it’s definitely good for what you’re paying. We tried a couple sushi’s and plates and the Crunch Yum Yum roll ended up being our favorite!

Celebrated my youngest daughter's birthday here. Service was excellent, as was the food. Just wish there was more of it. But I understand that is part of the Japanese dining experience. Experience so no faults there. Super cozy atmosphere!

Food was awful. Very dry and bland. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and cali rolls. The soup was also very powdery.

They didn’t have the roll that I normally get when I get sushi but they were so accommodating and they actually custom-made the roll for me, Spicy Crab Spider Roll…he did it perfect and Let me just say on point -chefs kiss ! amazing!!

I recently visited Sakura and had an amazing experience. The sushi was incredibly fresh, with perfectly balanced flavors, and the presentation was stunning. The ambiance was cozy and authentic, and the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend trying the Fire roll; it's a must-have! I can’t wait to come back and enjoy another meal at Sakura.

Update: The last few times we've been there the "HIP-HOP" music playing in the background was extremely loud and annoying. What happened to the serenity of the Japanese inspired music that added to the irwonderful food?. Too bad.........

Consistently yummy sushi and rolls. Friendly, fast service. Very stuffy and warm though and the interior overall is in need of a facelift. The vinyl on booths is torn, window blinds are dingy, and it just doesn't seem as clean as it has in years past.
