Mediocre food at outrageous prices. The food is mediocre at best, the prices are high, on top of that they nickel and dime you on everything… for example, my husband ordered biscuits and gravy, they served the stale biscuit with a tiny bit of gravy in a bowl on the side and when he asked for more gravy they charged him for a side of gravy. I ordered banana nut pancakes and the menu said add caramel for $1… the caramel was a tiny condiment cup of refrigerator cold caramel that I had to try to spread on my battery undercooked pancakes. Don’t even bother ordering coffee… almost $4 for crappy weak coffee and they are so understaffed that you won’t get a refill. I won’t be making this mistake again, I’ll drive to extra distance to Ziggy’s.

New to Springfield and I was looking for Good Ol’ Breakfast place! I found a gem when I discovered this place. Went in and got my favorite, Eggs Benedict! It was amazing. Ordered Grits! They were great too.
I will be back and will be bringing out of town guests when they come in to visit. Very reasonable. Nothing fancy. Just amazing food and Great Service.

Expect a long wait for food to come out (45 mins for a 2-person order-- we just ordered 2 entrees and a side of pancakes) with lukewarm food. Charged us 8 dollars for a side of pancakes (when that's supposed to be the price of a full order of pancakes). I liked the skillet I ordered; but it was a smaller portion than some other places in town. I didn't care for the long wait for the food while we were starving. Other larger groups of people who came after us got their food before us. Won't be going back.

Best breakfast sandwiches in Springfield! Like, WOW! They're full of flavor!
This diner has an old-school vibe that's warm and welcoming.
I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place to get breakfast or brunch!

Good food and service. No wait to be seated. Quiet wasn't noisy. I was able to do my work on my laptop without any distractions.

Very good food the portion sizes were perfect. The owner very friendly outgoing man the waiter was awesome and the place was very clean. I definitely would recommend any local or someone passing through to stop in and have a meal here I had the Nina's scrambled egg breakfast with biscuits and gravy the biscuit was awesome tasted homemade and fresh and the gravy was really good my wife had the pecan waffles and said they were absolutely delicious also. I don't think the prices were any more than you would expect to pay in any sit-down restaurant
