My family and I traveled from Texas to Springfield, Missouri and were on the hunt for some dinner. This place was next door to our hotel. So glad we decided to try it out! The food was AMAZING! The owner greeted us and was super friendly and the staff was very nice and helpful as well! Just all around a great experience and we HIGHLY recommend this place! You won’t be disappointed!

Senior Julian Mexican restaurant is an excellent Mexican restaurant. Get yourself in to Senior Julian Mexican and bar and see Edson..he'll take care of your authentic Mexican food needs.
Get in and see Edson. He will make you the best paloma and make sure that you are well taken care of.

At the suggestion of one of Mrs. HB's co-workers, we stopped in to try Senor Julian's. He was right. It was great!
The first thing you noticed when you walk in is the colorful artwork all over the restaurant. The second thing you notice is they are using every square foot they can to get as many people seated as possible. They even use the hallway to the restrooms for seating!
They were very well staffed, and the entire staff was extremely friendly! But the food... it was some of the best Mexican we've had in long time. And the portion sizes were... substantial.
I recommend anyone who loves Mexican food to try Senor Julian's. You'll be glad you did.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always so good. The service is great. My favorite item is the homemade flour tortillas. Just makes the restaurant a little more special than all the others. :)

Hands down one of if not the best burritos in town! The staff is always amazing and never have a complaint!! Will be coming back very soon!

Food was okay I had a chimichanga it was pretty dry no flavor even when eating it with the beans and rice it’s the first Mexican restaurant that iv been to that doesn’t have a sauce on top of the chimichanga the staff was nice and friendly my daughter didn’t like the kid burrito didn’t know they had small green peppers in the meat it was not spicy witch was good she still ate

Good food, fast service. Did have to ask the server twice for a drink. But overall, it was good for how busy it was. May want to call ahead if you have more than two people. There were three groups waiting outside when we arrived. You can walk in and put your name on the list, and they will call you when the table is ready.

Every time we’ve been here it’s been great! Staff always have a smile and everything is taken care of professionally. I had to stop going for a while because I was becoming a birria taco. So good. Also the owners gave us free desserts to try because one of us didn’t like flan…then we both did. Consistently delicious food.
