Floors were filthy. Tables and windows also needed to be cleaned. I understand that they are probably short-staffed, but they should not have opened for business that day, until everything was cleaned. Won't go back!

We just left this restaurant. We are so confused. From the moment we walked in it was snappy remarks and barked instructions from the surly blonde waitress. once we sat down a blonde surfer of a waiter confusedly asked what we were having to drink. I asked for diet soda, my companions ordered water and coffee. He indeed brought what we ordered. But informed us they were mostly out of creamer and we would have to search all of the empty tables in the diner to find some. So, awkwardly, one of our group wandered through the diner we had never been to before, and found the creamers. After that debacle the blonde haggardly waitress stopped at our table and said, "What do you want?" After raising our eyebrows at eachother we began to order. My friend asks if she can change out a French toast for a pancake. Blondie says in a very clipped manner, "No. You have to have it the way it is in the menu." Friend: "OK. That's fine." Waitress: "You know, he just won't let me." Friend (confused): It's fine [smile] Waitress rattled off bread options and my partner said, "I'd like it how the menu has it." Which was with wheat toast. So the next person in our party began to order. Blonde waitress interrupts and says, "I still need to know what toast you want." Friend: oh, I said I wanted it the way it is in the menu. Waitress: the menu says you have a choice. Friend: oh, ok. My menu says wheat toast. Waitress: no it doesn't. Friend: ok, well I'll have wheat toast. Other friend starts to order. Asks to substitute an item. Waitress: No, I just said he won't let me do that. Friend: oh ok, I must not have heard you say that. I start to order. Now, let me preface this with some info. I have recently started a new way of eating. I eat very healthy and it has been life changing. So when I do "cheat" I order off the kids menu. No place has ever cared. It's a smaller portion, so less money. It's not like it's a buffet where I would eat an adult portion but pay a child's price. I honestly want the small portion of whatever it is. So... I order the Mickey Mouse pancake breakfast. She stops, looks at me, says ,"He will NOT let me do that." Me (clarifying): Oh, no I really want the small portion. I'm not trying to get a big pancake or anything. Waitress [so so rude]: You. Aren't. A. Child. He won't let me do that! Me: Welp, we are out of here. We start to get up and leave and she yells, "Get out of my restaurant!!" We are walking out, she's still yelling things. I say over my shoulder, "I have no idea what we did to make you so angry, but you're crazy." She yelled some more. We got into our car and drove to Jimmy's Egg. See my review on their page for a pallette cleanser

This place is so gross. It's dirty and needs to close for a deep cleaning. Staff is less than friendly, service was lousy, and the food was so bland. One and done.

Food was good, but I've never been served a side salad ? with an omelet... and the biscuits are those of the tiny variety they then fry on both sides, you get 1... the waitress told us first day , didn't know the menu, ok then where is the trainer ? Not one almost as if they said hey you wanna work?!?! Do this job and be good at it... so alot of stuff got left and questions never asked, ranch for the side salad tasted old and bitter... Other people were getting forgot, drinks not refilled, It was clear to see everyone was getting annoyed... At this time do waste your money... They have work to do and a menu to revamp... The menu just doesn't make sense...

The omelettes were very good however the biscuits and gravy could use some help.

I came here on a Sunday morning with a friend and thankfully we got there right before more people showed. This is a very cozy place with friendly workers. There was only one waitress and she's really good at multitasking. They have Mediterranean breakfast options with American breakfast. I got the menemen. I really like the salad with it. Sometimes you just want a light meal cause you're not ready to eat a lot. The pita bread with it was fluffy and just really comforting to eat. Very wonderful place that I'm glad I got to try since I was in Springfield for a wedding. If I'm ever in Springfield again, I would definitely go here again cause I did like a lot of their meals listed on their menu.

You may walk in here and wonder, "What's happening here? Am I getting the diner experience I wanted?"Yes, you will.Burger and fries? CheckPancakes with Syrup? CheckTraditional Turkish breakfast with turkish tea? Check...wait, what? What is happening here? Waitressed called me hun, ok, yes, definitely a diner. Why is there a unique selection of culturally diverse dishes mixed in with your standard burgers and breakfast? Is turkish food good? Oh man, wow, yes. Not like your eating ingredients you haven't mostly had before. This place is worth a dice roll, and you always have your fall back of a chicken sandwich.I mean...unless you just want to get Sonic again...but you didn't read this review because you resigned yourself to mozzarella sticks and a grape slushy with nerds in it. This year was awful and you need something brighter in your life. You deserve this, get in here and order something.

Nice diner with a variety on the menu. Great for breakfast and lunch. Their burgers are tasty. If you're looking for something different try their Turkish breakfast! Staff and owners are super friendly.

This is my second review and if 6 stars were available I'd mark that! Jenna is friendly, personable and makes the experience so fun. She recommended the burger last time I was in for breakfast and (excuse the drool) it is top 5 burgers in my book. The chili fries were seasoned and delicious, and the breakfast can't be beat. The pictures don't do enough service. Try this joint out, and you will not be disappointed!

The owner is friendly and makes you glad you came in. The food, both American and Mediterranean is hot, fresh and well prepared. The American part of the menu has a little bit of a twist, a subtle difference in preparation or flavor profile that sets the food apart from typical American diner fare. I like it, and recommend it. I would make it 41/2 if that was available.

The Shakshuka was amazing!! Others in my party had regular breakfasts as well. Service was fast and food was high quality. Also recommend the Turkish coffee.

My husband and I we’re drawn to Springfield Diner for the Turkish Breakfast! There is NOTHING like it anywhere else in Sgf. It has since become our favorite brunch spot. Every server is friendly and the owner stops by to say hi each time we visit. I can honestly say I feel a fullness and gratitude each time I eat there.

We stopped in for a much needed brunch on our way back to KC. This Diner is very small, but cute. They accommodated our party of 7 right away because they weren't super busy. You get good portions for the prices. Our service was great and the food was good!! I didn't LOVE the biscuit or the gravy, but everything else was great. I added cheese on my hash browns and I would 10/10 recommend. It took us 20 minutes to get our checks separated which is the only reason I'm giving this a 4/5.
