Curly black pubic hair in my food. I couldn’t eat it. Absolutely disgusting.I should have just walked out when I walked in. The place literally smells like a rotten fish fry. But this is a barbecue place? It’s a shame because next-door St. George’s donuts are pretty dang good.

Wow yes we recommend! We actually went a little out of the way based on their five stars rating. So worth it! We both got the same combo platter, with brisket, turkey and pulled pork. Same sides as well, okra and beans. The owners are friendly and talkative and so hospitable! It's a total hole in the wall with family recipes for the sauce. He was very proud of the mustard based sauce but they were all good! The reaper sauce is good and hot, but not overly so. Stray from interstate and check this place out!

Small mom and pop place, where you want to go for great BBQ, the owners were friendly, kind,generous, true meaning of southern hospitality the food was moist, I was amazed how good the food was you have to try when your in the area, you will not regret it ,we were visiting my son in the hospital, were from jersey I wish I lived closer

We had St. George's BBQ catered into work.Here is my honest review.Buns were hard.Meat was not bad but not good either. Little smoke/flavor. Think small chunks and thin slices of bland, dry meat.Potato side was ... interesting. Cooked well but so much seasoning, it will give you indigestion for the next hour.Beans were tasty. Could have used more onion/bacon pieces but still very good.I enjoyed the pasta salad the most, or so I thought. Had to dig for a couple pieces of onion and cucumber/pickle. Ate half it when I realized I was eating cucumbers/pickles with mold. I thought "Noooo. Couldn't be. Certainly it's just a variation of the skin." It wasn't. I scratched off white, fuzzy mold.I lost my appetite at this point.All in all, this was catered so I did not personally lose money but I wanted to still share my experience for anyone thinking of using them for catering.

Lets start with the customer service, I walked in to pickup a takeout order, and the first thing an employee says is "On the phone, You sound just like you look"..... What is that supposed to mean? (I am African American) but that's not what you tell someone spending money at your establishment. Very unprofessional place. Secondly, the food is just ok and nothing at all to rave about. You can get better service and food elsewhere.
