Garlic steak burger is so yummy! I recommend adding Lettuce tomatoes and pickles to enhance the flavor!!

Atmosphere is what’s getting 3 stars. Overall we always have a great experience at this steak and shake.. kitchen workers are great at delivering fresh food fast… although one of the servers had someone (family or a friend) sitting in a booth just watching her and talking.
There was also a couple girls sitting near the booth by beverage station eating food that wasn’t from here in street clothes..gossiping and distracting the other servers and workers

I was accidentally blown into the steak 'n shake by some strong winds they were pushing my car around and I said fine I'm not letting you push my car around anymore I think you might be messing with the alignment so I parked the car and I got out and the wind pushed me straight into the steak 'n shake I hit the back glass luckily I didn't shatter it because it probably have to pay for it anyway I walked in and they said we have burgers and fries and shakes and I said wow I was like but I thought of you had steaks and they said Well that's just to try and get you in the door we don't actually have steaks we have steak burgers which are like burgers but made out of steaks and I said are they really and they said no But that's fine with me I do like burgers so I just went ahead and got a burger and a burger was good and they said we have salt and I said that's great so I poured some salt on my fries and they kind of needed them if I'm being honest otherwise the fries are pretty bland and then my friend showed up and it was great because we had a bunch of shakes and so I guess if you just go to steak 'n shake you magically get friends and I mean hey that's pretty cool All the people there were really nice and the atmosphere is the same at every steak 'n shake you go to it's like old school diner style and if they have a bar that you can say that you better sit at that bar otherwise you might end up with more friends than you can count

Garlic butter burger is the best burger I've ever had period
the food was mid but Mason delivered excellent service and went above and beyond to make our experience better, need more driven young people like him, he definitely needs a promotion! :)

I do not live in Springfield however, I am here a couple times a week for work. I love this place. The food is amazing. The staff is friendly. They remember to add ketchup to my order every single time without having to ask, I would give 10 stars if it would let me.
