Okay, what world did I just step into that Steak and Shake has totally astonished me? 5 years ago I swore it off. I decided to give it a try tonight and I was extremely pleased. The Frisco Melt is just as I remembered. Those Tallow fries, wooh buddy, great choice. Chili was flavorful as always. The coke was CRISPY! And let’s talk about tha little seasoning packet and branded napkins, grade-A idea.

All I can say is horrible. The waitress was ok but the food was crap. The Frisco Burger was a soggy mess! They do not use the thick toasted bread anymore, rather, you get just thin sliced bread and it's soaked in grease! 🤮. The Chilly Mac was a plate of half cooked ground beef, spegetti noodles all swimming in grease and water. It was basically soup! You get about 35 french fries with the meals. We have experienced this in two different restaurants with both identical meals. This place just happened to be the worse. BEWARE! They have gone downhill!!

Place was terrible, hot crowded and felt dirty! The food was just slapped together and greasy! We had high expectations for this chain, but that particular establishment has definitely changed our opinion! We ordered simple to ensure we would be able to get something that we would enjoy, however that wasn’t the answer. Burgers and fries, onion rings, all served on paper, the grease covered the buns even the top, fries were like warm, and onion rings tasted like old oil, I won’t even begin to describe the chilli- Mac, don’t ever.
This is my Chili Mac with extra beef. Hardly any beef at all. Taste is off too. Very disappointed. I've been eating at SnS a very long time. This was the absolute worst! No condiments for it either, not that it mattered. DO BETTER! Fries taste like chicken also. FAIL

We walked in at 930 when the dining room closes at 10. Several people came in after us. The two girls working were sweet with every single person that came in. Even the ones walking in close to 10. You wouldn't know they were getting ready to close. I used to wait tables and I can tell ya I would get CRABBY when someone came in 5 till close. Very good staff working tonight.

As someone whos first experience with a stake and shake was the sit down kind. This one although being more on the fast food end of the spectrum of steak 'n shakes still maintains that sit down air inside without actually having the sit down wait times of table services. Perfectly fine for me but I wish where where more sit down variants around drive through is fast even at late nights and the food is solid quality, you cannot truly compare sit downs food to fast food as one has way more time to make it as good as possible but even so comparing the 2 styles back to back. Shakes are within a mild differents between them. While burgers and such are a little more rushes tasting with the fast food variant not exactly allowing for the maximum potential of the food. But even with that it's still better then a lot of fast food Burgers around
