We loved the fries and tots. Burgers are great, too. This is Not a self service Steak 'n Shake like some have become. Pleasant service. Busy place on a Sunday. We came at 11:40 and got a table. Some of those coming 15 mins later had to wait.

This is the 2nd time they got my order wrong and gave me fries with fresh ones on the top and old cold ones in the bottom and it wasn't full at all. I ordered a double steak burger with cheese combo (large). No pickles, extra onions. There wasn't any cheese, just two almost burnt patties with ketchup. I don't know if they charged me for extra onions because the receipt I have doesn't have the prices on it. I hope not. This location is too far away from home to drive right back so I'll just leave a review. I'll post pictures as well. On top of that, we waited at least 12 minutes in drive-thru for this order. Do better, please. I was really craving a good burger but was let down... again.

Just threw out half my order and regret not tossing the whole thing. Haven't been here in years but we just moved nearby, hard pass. Two chocolate shakes, one tasted like cherry cough syrup and one like it was trying to pass for chocolate. Totally different. How is that? They just have made one half strawberry or something it was so gross but the one that was just attempting to be chocolate and not fake fruit was also bad. Much better off at braums. The buns here were wet and squishy like they got rained on and tasted like they were sad about it. The pickles were drippy, not pickle juice but water. Did they bathe the sandwich? Was it dirty? It was so soggy but the meat patties also managed to be dry and greasy both. It was bizarre. The fries and burgers tasted like they'd never been in the same building as a salt shaker. Under ripe tomatoes. Rubbery cheese. The whole thing was such a hot tasteless mess and I was so disgusted by the wet buns and weird bad shakes I didn't want any of it. Yuck.

Not my favorite location, as the service always seems to be greatly lacking. My husband's sandwich was wrong, food was cold. Milkshake was good, tho had to wait awhile for it.

I just left Steak n Shake and I hope this gets to the owner. I am leaving this review primarily due to the nice young man working the drive through whom was very professional n great attitude. Sorry I didn't get his name but this review is about 15 minutes after I left. Keep up the great work n thank you once again. Ohh and the food is really good too
