“I called Mrs Gilmore's twice, and emailed once about a group of about 15 women who wanted to have lunch at Mrs. Gilmore's. No one answered my email, and neither time I called was the need for a reservation mentioned. When we arrived, they evidently mistook our group for another one who was also lunching there that day. Once the error was discovered it became evident they were not prepared for our group. We were made to feel as if we'd done something wrong. They seated us in another area, our drink orders taken and delivered, and we never saw our server again. Finally, after one of us had to leave in order to get food before going to work, we decided to go elsewhere. A neighboring restaurant was able to accommodate us quickly without fuss, despite being short handed. We had our food within a surprisingly short time. Thank you, Big Momma's. We'll be back.“

“The chocolate gooie butter bar and the butter thumbprint cookie was delicious. The gooie cookie was not something I’d get again. Hubby said the snickerdoodle cookie was delicious. They have a really cute gift shop set up as well. I’d like to come back for their lunch sometime, but we just missed it.“
