Awesome little place in downtown Springfield to enjoy some brisket street tacos & order of rice & beans. Oh, & definitely try the Andy’s rootbeer! Brewed in the heartland of Missouri & super good! Thanks for dinner!

They are sure proud of their tacos and you will pay for them, but it's hard to complain when they put everything but the kitchen sink on them tortillas.
Wish they made their own sauce.

This place is not a Mexican restaurant. I don't see why there are negative reviews that say dumb things like tHeReS nO sAlSa Or CaRnE aSaDa. Don't expect Mexican food, these are gentrified. However, they are very good.
I got the margarita and it was STRONG. I can see why it's just a wee cup of it. Someone who likes to party makes those margaritas.
The tacos I got were the tofu king and the BA Baracus. The tofu king had a zangy tangy sauce that made me lick the plate. Tastey veggies on it, like a slaw. The BA was juicy brisket 😋 Both very solid choices. I had to tell my husband to get the chips and queso away from me because I was going to embarrass myself and eat them all.
The vibe is chill. I like the outdoor area even though it's hot as balls outside. In the evening it's just right. The people complaining about outdoor seating are probably agoraphobic weirdos.
We came on a Thursday and it wasn't very busy. A few cozy couples sipping their drinks.
The patio was clean. The signs are very clear about what is on the food. The lady at the window who took our order was a smiling face and helped us to decide what to get.
We just had a great experience and will be back for more margaritas and tacos.

The best vegan tacos! Always good. You eat outdoors, so be ready for that!

Our food got out to us pretty quickly but there was a lot of strange people on the pavilion when we were there but it's downtown area so it was expected. I got the rice bowl and to be honest I was pretty disappointed. There was hardly any rice and it's not even Mexican rice but there was plenty of toppings. It was like slop more than anything because of the topping to rice ratio. We decided to try this place out because our usual places were closed. They don't have very many options either.

I have eaten here several times. My daughter introduced me to Team Taco ( it’s her favorite!) I tried every taco on the menu… the globetrotter and tofu king are my go to on the regular menu. However, you guys should put the ringer “ shawarmaggedon” on your regular menu… it is fantastic!!! I’ve had it as both a taco and rice bowl both were delicious, but the rice bowl was absolutely wonderful!! I would order this every time if put it on your menu!

A great neighborhood taco shop. Their everyday menu is great and their ringers are always creative and delicious. I'm a meat eater, but I'm always impressed with their vegetarian/vegan options. Pro tip: Average Joe as nachos with black beans.

Late one evening, I was strolling down Cherry and Pickwick, walking off the stress of a turbulent finals season, when I came upon the neon glow of the Team Taco sign. Feeling pangs of both hunger and relief after passing my battery of tests, I decided to reward myself with a box of nachos and a margarita. The vermillion glow from the establishment mingled with the heat of the kitchen, engulfing me in a womb-like embrace of comfort. As I approached, my anticipation slowly turned to cold dread. Within the red glow, the shadows danced an impossible umbral waltz, twisting and curving into shapes my mind could never hope to reproduce. A dull hum emenated from the crimson depths, just barely above the pitch of human hearing. The sound cut through to my very soul, filling me with the urgent need to be somewhere, anywhere but this grim precipice, but my muscles would not obey. Marionettelike, I staggered to the counter and stared into the maw of madness. Within, past the veil of the shadow's dance, a goat-headed figure hovered off the ground, robed in sheets of inky black and captivating scarlet. Beneath the twisting colors was the impression of a power beyond the physical. Staring up into its eyes felt like gazing up a sheer cliff face, a towering edifice impossibly high, somehow contained within the confines of the taco shop. As I stood transfixed, I felt the being bend a fraction of its immeasurable attention upon my lowly form. It asked without words, in a chord which shredded down my nerves like razors made of ice. It asked a question, and I somehow understood. My mouth opened, emenating forth a black stream of pure meaning, a message without medium. Ten minutes later, I got my pork belly nacho bowl and margarita. Pretty good stuff ngl, I'll be coming back

Tacos from Team Taco are tasty, but I will not be going back.
Today I learned that they are selling a t-shirt with Krampus on the front. Krampus is a mythical figure from Central European folklore, often depicted as a half-goat, half-demon, who is the devilish counterpart to St. Nicholas.
I am not sure why a taco place would select such a disturbing image for one of their t-shirts, but I will not be supporting TT in the future.
The food was good and the service was great. Love the outdoor sitting area
