There was no heat in the dining room and we were not informed about that before they took our money. It was January 23 and the temperature outside was about 15 degrees fahrenheit. Needless to say, it felt that way inside the entire time we were eating and it completely ruined the experience. You order your food and pay before you sit down so it was too late by the time we realized what was happening.

If you're the type of person that claps when the plane lands, this place is for you. We paid $50.00 for the most blandest food I think I've ever gotten from a restaurant. Literally, seasoned it myself after I got home and it still somehow lacks flavor. First time eating here and will definitely be the last.

the food is good and pretty healthy and they do have the best crab rangoons! unfortunately due to their price increases I won't be able to come here very often anymore. $20 for one entree with rice and crab rangoons 😣
I really enjoy their beef drunken noodles.

Pad Thai cost $4 more than advertised and tastes nothing like pad Thai. It tastes like licking an old dusty bookshelf with a hint of mildew. Absolutely vile slop.

Thai Express owner Patrick Nett is facing another lawsuit. Springfield Grocer Company alleges Nett did not pay for grocery delivery services rendered. Nett is also being sued for embezzling funds as part of a buyout of a Springfield meat company. Scumbag deserves to be in jail
My husband got the drunken noodle and I had the red curry chicken. Both dishes were very sweet, and the chicken was tough. My husband mentioned that some of his chicken was cold. My curry dish was so sweet that I almost couldn’t eat it. It was absolutely awful.
I just got food from them and I have a wheat allergy and not only did I find my food had been cross contaminated with wheat noodles, I had already eaten a rather good amount before noticing and had an allergic reaction. This place apparently has a complete disregard of life threatening allergies.
I asked for no eggs and for it to be as gluten free as possible and there’s a massive amount of egg in my pad Thai and I also found a wheat noodle in my food and I had an allergic reaction! Very inconsiderate of allergies and I would not recommend.

Used to live their food, recently went and the portions were smaller and there was no flavor. They used to have spice levels you could pick so I guess all they have now is BLAND.

Went here with the family a couple times. The older gentleman who takes the orders and the cash is not friendly. Doesn't say hi, doesn't smile, makes you wait when you are sitting right in front of him and doesn't acknowledge you. After hearing a pretty thick Thai accent, it was pretty obvious the gentleman was from Thailand. To be a friendly, I asked where in Thailand he was from and he stated he was not from Thailand twice. Later, the waitress confirmed that he is definitely from Thailand and is the father of the owner. We also apologize for a little bit of a mess with younger kids and we're completely ignored. We were here a couple of times and experience the same kind of poor customer service. This is not a one time thing. No thanks, not how you treat customers especially if you are related to the owner. Tons of other places to go and in Springfield metro area, including Thai food. Will not be back.
We went to dinner there with the family (American husband and 2 kids) today and the owner's dad was very unfriendly. He didn't acknowledge us or greeted us at all while we were waiting to order. He's from Thailand and I was excited to see someone from my country because I'm from Thailand too. But when my husband asked him if he's from Thailand, he said No. I also went to ask for a water cup and he gave it to me rudely: just put it on the counter in an uncaring way and didn't even look at me. Also the way he looked at me was kinda insulting the first time he saw me. It was like this last time we were here too. I also asked the American waitress if he's from Thailand because i could tell by his accent, and she said Yes, he's from Thailand. So he lied to my husband and me. I don't know what's the deal is..it's sad to experience your own people looking down on you which was highly inappropriate because I was a customer with my family with me. I would never go back to this place again. So sad because it is used to be one of our favorite places.
