That Lebanese Place

Great food, big menu, but most of all, the friendly atmosphere! Chef Elie is so personable. We were able to connect on our Lebanese backgrounds which elevated the experience. I'm not from the Springfield area, but I know where I'll be stopping again when I pass through. The Shawarma and Falafel were great, and lucky for me, he had his wonderful Kibbeh on the menu that day.

The owner is very enthusiastic, and went out of his way to help me get the food I asked for when they were low on ingredients. He has very genuine conversation. The food was cooked very well and tasted amazing, especially the lamb meat. They also have great options for vegan dishes, as some of my family who joined me are vegan. I highly recommend their mound dessert because it has a very rich taste and isn’t overly sweet.

You can really enjoy a variety of plates with the original taste of Lebanese food. Very friendly team serving you. The atmosphere is down to basics (kind of a mom's and pop's place) but that is what makes it unique and original). It far from your usual national chain type of restaurant . Very affordable.

Perhaps the worst Mediterranean/Lebanese food I’ve tried in my life. No flavor, no special taste compared to any other food out there. And don’t bother with their baklava, I can bake it way better at home. Just don’t waste your time and money on this place.

I have never had such a delightful experience. The owner treated us like family and the food literally soothed my soul from the rough work week. I and my husband could not stop smiling. The food was so flavorful and you can tell they take pride in it. (Rightfully so) Those kebabs are no joke! 10/10 will recommend. Every.Time. ❤️

Our friend group included vegan and gluten free members, and someone recommended That Lebanese Place as an accommodating option. Everyone found something they could eat and enjoyed it. It was not busy for a late Sunday lunch and our food came out quickly for a party of 8. It's in a neat old part of town and the building has a relaxed, genuine vibe. Compared to similar dishes I've gotten elsewhere, I felt it was a good value for the quality and quantity.

Hosted a birthday party here in August, service was incredible despite the large amount of people we had. Food was both unique and delicious, will definitely be returning!

Shawarma is fantastic. I wish there was more fresh veggies on it but still one of the best I've had. Falafel was crisp outside and so soft inside. Again one of the best. A local Greek restaurant insisted their hockey puck Falafel was the way its supposed to be. So wrong. Try here. First time I came here I asked them to order for me and I wish I remembered what I had because everything was great. The most simple dish I always get is the loaded fries. So crispy and so flavorful. Springfield staple.

Loved the food and the owner was fantastic in pointing out great suggestions. Everything we ate was fantastic, I am a particular fan of the falafel and my friend loved the lentil soup. Customer service is deeply friendly and fun.
