I don't know what the occupancy level is here, but seemed pretty empty in half of the area inside and lots of people were freezing their as**s off :/ But this is just a regular old dive bar. Okay, music and atmosphere. The floor is stickier than most bars I've been to. But coming from Auburn University. This bar reminds me more of a bar like any small town, yet Springfield is much larger. Idk.... just kinda lame tbh. Wasn't impressed. Didn't order food, just...
Meh. Maybe I outgrew this location. I used to go here 2x a week when it was Patton Alley Pub when I was in college and the few years after graduation (roughly 2008-2012). I'm now 36 and went there a few weeks ago on a weekend night. Odd seeing the remodeling and such, especially that the bar looked like a train wreck and there being lots of exposed plywood. A small army of police officers camped out nextdoor wasn't particularly a new sight as that they were posted up...
This was our first time being in there since it changed hands. I like how they opened up the dining area and made it larger. Nice variety of beer and cocktails. Definitely go back again !!
