A favorite place for a quick bite downtown during the week. They are closed weekends.

Staff was super friendly towards my son and I. We both ordered Lo Mein, and I must say, that was some of the best I have ever had. I šŸ’Æ recommend this place to anybody visiting springfield.

Super fresh tasting Chinese food at decent prices!
I got the orange chicken and a side of crab rangoons. The Orange chicken had a nice hard batter shell with an orange sauce that didn't taste artificial at all. The Crab ranging were piping hot and so tasty with the accompanied sauce.
My boyfriend always gets the cashew chicken from here and says it's the best Cashew chicken in Springfield.
Everything looked so good I forgot to take pictures until I had already started eating!

Overall, a good fast Chinese food place that doesn't sacrifice quality.

When at first site, the restaurant isn’t as appealing. However I have found a lot of ā€œoutdatedā€ places have the best food. This place did not disappoint! The hot and sour soup was amazing! I’m very picky with my soups. If I could change one thing though, they could lighten up the spicy on it just a bit. The crab Rangoon and sesame chicken I had was also very good. Also the staff was super friendly and kind!

My hopes were not high walking into this establishment. The linoleum floor was a little worn (which was a good sign), but there was no 12 year old sitting in the corner doing homework and the menu was displayed on crystal clear LCD screens.

But when I took my first bite of the beef lo mein, something happened.

I was transported back to 2003. Oakland CA where my Dad had taken us to a hole in the wall shop after church. Both English and Chinese menus were available and the dancing melody of Mandarin was being called out from the kitchen.

The smells and flavors of that restaurant enchant me to this day, and I have been longing for a taste of it for over 2 decades.
The Riksha is the closest thing to perfection I have found in Springfield (and I've tried a number of places).

Lo mein is my favorite dish and The Riksha's beautiful rendition of it awakened that part of my childhood that I thought was lost forever.

Needless to say...
I'll be back.
