Been a Chef most of my adult life; just moved to MO about a year and a half ago. Probably the worst taco ever. To much salt and lime bought 4 taco tried to finish the fourth; but could not. Let the cashier know about the food all she could say is sorry. Should not add salt; let the patron add the salt.

I've been coming to Tinga Taco for years now, and honestly like 3 times a week! I gotta say it was annoying to pay 3.86$ just to get a cup with a lid on it for my water. Most of the employees will just let me have the cup for water, but also I do not mind paying a "cup" fee for water... But 3.86 is steep for that. It wouldn't be so bad if the pricing on the food wasn't already a bit high, And sometimes when I get the rice bowl the rice is so hard that I can't even chew it .. But I never say anything about that and I keep coming back. Yeah paying 3.86 for a small cup for water has me reconsidering how often I'll stop in. Employees are always friendly and that is wonderful, but c'mon.
They send their food truck out to my work place often, and I look forward to it every time!

I have not even tasted my food tonight because I am so unhappy. My family chose Tinga Tacos for our “Celebrate our Hispanic Heritage” dinner this evening.
We should have went somewhere else. The guys in the back really did not seem to want to be there tonight. They messed up part of our order, so it was a 40 minute round trip to handle that.
Since my family likes to eat together, I asked for 4 corn tortillas to replace the tortillas that were breaking down. Apparently, that was a problem.
Think twice before trying this place. It’s kind of sad because the reviews are pretty good. So I guess our mistake was coming here for dinner instead of lunch.
I love this restaurant! It’s the perfect stop on my walk home, I love to get there $1.75 tacos on Thursdays. When you put care into every ingredient, you get a really wonderful product and that is what I feel like this business does. I also recommend their guacamole and their burrito bowls
