Tropical Smoothie Cafe

These smoothies were so plain and barely had any flavor. Definitely not worth the money. We maybe would’ve said something but the workers seemed very unhappy to be there so we just left. It also smelled terrible in there? Some sort of weird food smell. Anyway, we should’ve just gone to Smoothie King.

I ordered food via the Tropical Smoothie App on 3/29 for delivery 3 miles from the store. I received a call from the delivery driver stating the pin for the address took him to Bolivar even though we were in downtown Springfield. I called the store to report this and was told that I had to call Uber. I told Rosby that I didn't order my food from Uber that I ordered it on Tropical Smoothie's app. She said that I would receive a full refund. I called back on April 1st as the amount was taken from my account but not replaced. She told me that it was refunded and would take 1-2 business days. I called back on 4/4 and was told again that they refunded it and it would take 2-3 days. I said I understand and that it had been almost a week already. She took my phone number and said the general manager would call me. I still have not received the refund or a call back. Very unprofessional and I would think twice before ordering from this store. We eat at Tropical Smoothie at least 3 times a week so this is very poor customer service.

I visited the one attached to Macadoodles in North Springfield. The acai bowl was so delicious and full of nutrition. This week they gave away a smoothie with purchased food or bowls! Wow

Well first of all the workers don’t want to help take orders and just look at the other hoping the other person helps the customer. Lady shrugged her shoulders when my boyfriend was trying to order and completely ignored him! Very rude and not helpful at all.

Always always my favorite place to eat!! Especially in the summer nice cold healthy fruit smoothie and you can customize your smoothie and leave the sugar out which is what I do.

Super friendly staff and my bowl was amazing !! I stayed in the Holiday Inn Express right down the street. Our flight boarded at 5:30am, so I needed something for breakfast before we left the hotel at 4:00. They were super helpful with recommendations and I went with the chia oatmeal pudding. It kept throughout the night in the fridge and was delicious the next morning.
Another bonus, you get a discount if you're staying at the hotel.

I will not eat or dine or have anything to with this location. The hiring manager/gm needs to practice her bed side manor and be informed on how to hire and interview new applicants. My daughter was told she was hired and that she’d be getting a background check and she never did receive it so she called 3 times and was told the manager was busy or couldn’t talk then she went in and was told by the gm the position had been filled. The manger sat at her table looking down for 5 minutes before even recognizing her and didn’t even remember her name. This is HORRIBLE and VERY unprofessional and I will not send anyone there for a job!! I

The smoothie shop is pretty large. Over 42 seats including the tall chairs. The smoothie is pretty big and really good. While I was there the card reader wasn’t working so I had to pay cash. It kept giving an error when you would select a tip or even no tip. Resulting in cash payment. Not a big deal. While I stood inside to enjoy my smoothie I happened to notice them “cleaning” the big blender cups which was just spraying them off with water. I can’t imagine they get very dirty but while standing there they had 4-5 blenders going at once. All with different things. How do they ensure there’s nothing from the previous smoothie going into the smooth being made? That was my only complaint and the reason for 4 stars. I would come back again.

Parking: Shares a lot with the big liquor store. Plenty of parking

Kid-friendliness: They provide one high chair. Pretty big restaurant to bring a bunch of kids or the family
