The sushi here is amazing, especially the Philly Roll and Tokyo Roll. The crab poppers really are fire as well. Very reasonable pricing and generous portions. Love this place

This was our first experience at Umi and we were so so impressed! All solid wood tables and chairs, great atmosphere, and AMAZING sushi. We got the $45 three roll combo with three top-rated customer-favorite signature rolls and we were not disappointed. One waitress was serving all 7 tables and was doing an amazing job. All tables get a free soup and salad appetizer with their purchase and the miso soup was some of the best we've had! The salad was a typical side salad with yum yum sauce but it was a pleasant surprise. We brought our baby and they had sturdy booster chairs for us to use.

This is such a good date night spot! Our server, Laney, was so great! She was sweet and attentive!
We ordered the spring roll, tuna tataki, rainbow roll, and ninja roll.

The spring roll is a cucumber roll with avocado and imitation crab. It's very delicious, crunchy, fresh, and light!

The rainbow roll had generous cuts of fish on top, so I loved that. It's a very simple, delicious roll if you like raw fish.
The ninja roll was good as well. It was very comforting- warm and delicious!
The tuna was awesome, the ponzu sauce is drinkable! So so good.

We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Do NOT get the hibachi. Normally I get sushi and it’s great. I came for lunch today and got the chicken hibachi, and the vegetables (carrots, zucchini, and onion) were barely cooked - all very crunchy and basically raw with no flavor. Other reviews for the hibachi were good so I took a chance and it was not worth it. Service was wonderful, atmosphere great. Hibachi that bad was truly disappointing.

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. We ordered the filet mignon and the spring rolls to start. The steak was tender and beautifully seasoned and the spring rolls delicate and beautifully plated. Malery and Eva were superb staff. Attentive and kind. The atmosphere was perfect and calming. I highly recommend this restaurant ti anyone with discerning taste.

Eva and Malary were wonderful servers. The food was so excellent I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm beautiful atmosphere with professional and kind staff. The food is top tier. We ordered the hibachi filet mignon. It was tender with a flavor that needed no season. It can stand alone. The fried rice was perfect as were the vegetables. We will be making Umi's a regular stop on our itinerary.

Me and my husband have been going here for about 8 or 9 years. We always considered it a hidden gem, we never had a wait and the food always delicious. Just went last week and EVERYTHING was terrible. He got seaweed salad and octopus, I almost threw up when I tasted the seaweed it was rotten. I got tempura vegetables they had no flavor and grease literally ran donw my chin. My sushi roll was gritty and tasted like dirt. My husband ordered sashimi and he couldnt eat it, I refused to taste it. Sad bc it used to be a 5 star and now I will never got back

We stopped in here passing through Springfield on a road trip. We arrived about 2:30, clearly a slow time for them. We were greeted and seated promptly. Service was friendly and easily accommodated a couple requests for modifications to our rolls. Food arrived fresh and fast, and was delicious. 👍🏼👍🏼 We will be back if we pass through again.
