One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. Our server was so helpful and fast, the food was amazing. If I lived in the area I would frequent this restaurant.

We tried the peace fries, tofu Kerrie, and vegan brat. A very unique find in an unexpected place! Love the atmosphere, as someone who has been to the Netherlands, this feels really authentic.Vegetarian options: Several vegan/veg shareables, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. Even a vegan dessert and alternative milk!Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan options, clearly labeled.

Our waitress, Valerie, was wonderful and attentive! I have food allergies, and she brought out their ingredients list so I could see what's in the dishes and order safely. We both ordered the braised beef, but I got the vegetable and herb mash instead of the carrot and potato mash. The portions were large, hot, and delicious! We definitely will be back! it would be a lie to say this resturant isn't quite expensive.but, even with that said, i crave it often enough to continue saving for a special breakfast sometimes because it is so worth it.their gluten free options are very yummy, and have so many vegetarian options without losing out on flavor or having to remove parts of meals to get there!my boyfriend loves the mashed potatoes with a fiery passion, which he felt i should mention.i couldn't name every item i've tried off the top of my head, but i haven't had an issue with a single one.they have such a wide selection to customize lots of dishes, and have gotten my order slightly wrong one single time, which was fixed immediately.they're always so nice on the phone, and although it's not the fastest service in the world it has been worth it for me every time.even the delivery always comes hot enough that i wait EXTRA time to eat it, and their chai latte is very good (i am picky about those as well)there's not a substitution in town for this food, and i will keep trucking my happy self back to get more because of that. :]Vegetarian options: they have vegetarian meat replacements, meat-less dishes, and can remove it from most options anyways.i've been vegetarian for over eight years now and i LOVE this place.Dietary restrictions: gluten free options for breads, vegetarian meat options, seafood based options, vegan options, and all kinds of stuff in every category for these.i don't think there's a section of the menu i can't have SOMETHING from.

Great place to eat lunch if you’re in that part of town. The place looks awesome with all the artifacts from Holland. The food is very delicious, and the waitstaff is super friendly!Will definitely return!
I will say our Easter Brunch meal at Van Gogh's is one of the best meals I have ever had! The quality and flavor of everything we had was phenomenal. Loved the decor and atmosphere too. Our server Nick was honestly one of the best servers we have ever had, from describing most of the items on the menu to never making us feel rushed and taking his time with us on a very busy day. We have a Vegan in the family who had so many options here as well. With Nick's recommendation I had the Frisan Farmhouse that had an amazing bechamel that made the dish. The honey cake was delicious as well. 2 people in our group had the Red Light Madame that was unique to anything they have ever had and so flavorful as well. We shared a pannenkoeken with blueberry compote which was very good. The star was the sharable, the Beef Kapsalon, that was so tender and so many different dimensions of flavor.We only wish we had this gem of a restaurant closer to home, please consider expanding to the Chicago area, we would be regulars!

Such a cool little spot downtown!!! The food is really unique & delicious. We went with a group of four on a little double date & it was great. The place is adorable & the lavender latte was bomb as well as the white peach tea. The food is seriously fire!! Very good flavors & it feels like they put a lot of care into it. Definitely fancier stuff. Overall it's a lovely place & I had a lovely time. My only wish is that maybe the portions would be larger for the amount you are paying, bcuz this place is not cheap, people. For ur average college aged kid with their own place this is high dollar. So I wish you got more food, bcuz it's so gooood!
