I ordered peanut butter pancakes and a glass of cow juice. It was a nice place for a fractured intellectual's body to find it's home again. Exterior noise was a bit invasive.
I am editing my review of Village Inn on Glenstone. Had sworn to never go there again six years ago. Went there last week and had a great meal with a great waitress, Rose. We went again today for Turkey and dressing. The platter was too much for one person. The service was excellent, even with Rose having to clear tables, keep up with everyone ordering and requesting take home boxes. Will be going to this place again when we drive into Springfield in the future.
Village inn is always perfect!!
Mike took great care of my grandpa and I. He’s wonderful! Ask for Mike!
This is not a place to sleep. It is a restaurant!! Our server Mike is always on top of things everytime we eat here.
Outstanding service and food excellent; price very reasonable for quantity of food.
We love Village Inn!

Great place always love getting breakfast when I'm in Springfield mo!!!🥰🥳🙏🙏
It's just what I was looking for a quiet atmosphere I can enjoy morning coffee and a. Bite of food
It's a very large restaurant with really great food and service was awesome! The bathroom clean. Although it was a very busy Sunday morning all the servers was handling it like pros.
Village Inn has all the charm of a beat up old breakfast dinner, without the amazing food.
Service was excellent - no complaints at all. Staff are attentive and accommodating.
The food is mid - at best. I've been subject to it twice now; neither occasion was good. They do have a wide variety, and I'd say it is comparable with Ihop or Denny's - its standard chain-level fair. It's not great.
The building is worn, and it shows it. A lot of this place smells like sadness and looks worse. Just lots of visible wear and tear that doesn't leave a great impression. And if food here was a screaming deal, I could see the niche. But it's not. So.
This is one of my favorite places to visit in Springfield. The waitresses are polite and quick.
