so dissapointed at the management. we stood there for 30 minutes and we were the only customers at the moment. Food was cold to the touch after receiving it. We told the manager and he said it was warm when we received it 2 minutes after getting it. we will not be returning. The hibachi at hy vee is awesome though! stay away from the pawn shop wannabe manager at wahlburgers thiugh. he just does not care about service or his customers. You get paid for the job, so at least attempt to do it.

I've eaten here before and it was good but won't return after today. Ordered the crispy chicken ranch and small side salad. The gluten free bun just feel apart and salad had no flavor and cost $6. The chicken was practically burnt, dry and no flavor at all. My husband ordered the super melt and cheese curds. $36 for everything and nothing tasted good at all. The only thing good on their menu is the jalapeno wontons. Unfortunately not enough to come back for.

Unfortunately I had a bad experienceI ordered a breakfast item. I waited 10, 15, 20 mins. I noticed the hot plate area where the food is ready to be sent out my item was sitting there with the others. There is 1 person on register, 1 cook, and no one to send out food. On top of that they ask for a tip before hand. Big MISTAKE.I love Hy-Vee but wahlburgers customer service is awful.

The guy that works in the deli that slices the hams and cheeses with the long dark hair and dark beard is not right. He always stares people down, and was even seen smirking at a visibly autistic girl. When we have bought hams, he is always rude, glares at you, and then touches his greasy unkempt hair and then touches the cheese and hams. I called and told the manager franklin about it, and he seemed he didn't care but claimed he was going to talk to him. We went back in after the discussion with franklin (we have a local business right by there) and he was still the same nasty, glaring person as before, with NO hair net still, touching his greasy hair and then serving the cheeses. The health dept is going to be notified, and as for his weird behavior, you all better watch how he treats customers, considering the high prices you charge. Another customer heard me and my co worker talking, and she said she witnessed the same guy outside that had locked his keys in his truck, and was standing out there talking to himself and hitting himself in the head over locking them in there. She said that it scared her and her daughter. Way to go hyvee hiring someone like that. Hope the health dept fines you over his sloppy, greasy hair being out of a hair net!

The fruit in the fruit cup looked old and mushy. My burger didn't even cover most of the bread and was really dry. The fries were the worst. The fries were limpy and luke warm in the center. The chili looks like it had been sitting out all day and was crusty looking. Paying over $20 for this meal, I would have been better off going to one of the other food stands in the store. I would have paid less and got a much better quality meal.

We sat at the only table that had been bussed. No one else there. It was disgustingly dirty. Then one of the food workers sat right by us (at a dirty table) and watched a tv show on her phone that was turned so loud it was hard to have a conversation with my husband. Food is pretty good, but I doubt if we return.

Yes, this hamburger place is located inside the Hy-vee Grocery Store. But don't be deceived, this place is an awesome dining destination. The burgers are great, and there's a lot of seating options. It's also a good place to go if you've got a group of people who all want to eat something different.

The service was fairly quick. The burger was ok but tasted bland. They supposedly use their special sauce on it but couldn't taste it. The tater tots were good and tasted just like Sonic's. It was an ok experience but nothing to go out of your way for.
