Brisket was tender but sliced too thin and had no smoke flavor at all! Sauces were ok. Baked Beans were great and coleslaw was good as well. Disappointed they had no Beer and the drink I wanted was unavailable, but sweet tea was good substitute. Maybe look at updating or going back to what won you those BBQ Trophies. Excellent food. Pulled pork wad amazing not try at all. The brisket was amazing as well.. fried okra to die for.. enjoyed my meal.
Just had lunch at the North Glenstone location. Excellent! The pulled pork was perfect, tender and juicy with a great flavor. Having several selections of BBQ sauce is good because everyone's idea of the best sauce varies person to person. To be honest, the sides are just as great as the barbeque meat. I had fried okra (pretty average) and potato salad (not traditional, but way above average). My husband had the cheesy corn and it was great! It's pretty sweet though, so be aware of that. We are looking forward to going back and trying the ribs!

Definitely a restaurant on the decline. The coke freestyle machine is out of any sugar options. I didn't even think to trust the tea and based on other reviewers comments that sounds like the right choice.

O my o my! Originally born and raised in the Midwest we couldn't wait to sink our teeth into REAL BBQ. Oh boy oh boy! You did not disappoint! Ribs were tender and so flavorful! The chicken so tender and juicy I couldn't believe it. Hush puppies were overdone and black, stuck together. We peeled them, my mother used to say "when you clean lettuce find the good stuff" okra was a bit crunchy to, but not runny (ick runny). The corn, wow what an amazing idea! So good! Fries yummy and prefect. Even the roll was fresh! Salad was small and fresh (who needs rabbit food with this banquet anyhow!). We've never had a chance to order from you before. But boy o boy will we be back. Thank you soooooo much!!

Stopping in Springfield for the night, this place has 4.3 stars figured it would be some good food. $16 you get a scoop of pulled pork, and 2 slices of brisket. Brisket is thin sliced, and is dry. Pulled pork has no texture whatsoever. If it wasn’t for these 6 different sauces, I probably wouldn’t of even ate it. I don’t know if Missouri people just don’t Know good BBQ or if I just caught it on a bad night but definitely wouldn’t be back again. Sides, green beans were just regular old green beans. Baked beans were good. the sausage in them gave it a good taste. Service was okay, nothing to comment on. Atmosphere, well there’s 4 couples eating here. Maybe that should’ve been a sign at 6:30 on a Sunday ???

Very dark atmosphere. Tea was sour, Floor was sticky like a movie theater,I had the 2 meat the brisket was very thin cut and had a weird sauce glazed on it. No taste but tangy, not good and not warm. The cheddar jalapeno sausage was ok but not very warm either. Okra was hot coleslaw was decent. My wife had burnt ends and sausage. Neither was very warm, burnt ends were chewy. Her cheesy corn looked as if it had been reheated many times and was luke warm. Her fries tasted like catfish. First time eating here and the last time eating here. Says championship BBQ but not sure the last time they cared enough to win a competition.

Twice I have order food for delivery and both times my order was cancelled by the restaurant. I have had enough of this so your best bet is stay clear from this restaurant if they cant fill your order and not even call to say if their going to then 1 hour later send you a message it was cancelled. With my husband being diabetic he needed to eat to take medicine not a snack Thanks for making my decision not to ever eat there ever.
Got the lunch special. Chicken sanwich was great. Potato salad is awesome and the corn is also good. I prefer the Sunshine location as this location did not have ham as an option. The other location is cleaner as well. The Sunshine location also has the wet wipes available, which is much appreciated when eating BBQ.

I had the Brisket dinner platter with two sides. The fried okra was excellent. I am kind of a snob when it comes to my coleslaw, and this slaw was excellent as well. Nice and creamy, and not too sweet. The brisket, it was okay. It didn't really seem to be smoked, more like crock pot cooked. The six sauces that are available at the table were all amazing. They had a good variety of different BBQ style sauces to choose from. Service was great and prices were reasonable.
