Bandana's Bar-B-Q St. Joseph

Great food, great service. The budget buster meals are great for the price, and the sandwiches are good too. The server was helpful, kind, and quick. The atmosphere was clean and had some nice decor. Would recommend!

We love Bandana’s, whenever we are traveling in the area. We make sure to take time to stop. This time we had our 17yro granddaughter with us and she loved it!!

Barbecue was fair quantity of food was just ample compared to what I've had in the other barbecue restaurants and the quality was fair have had better burnt ends the service was good though

Do not get the wet bandana sandwich. It was horrible. A couple slightly burnt Texas toast with a cup of BBQ sauce and very little meat of any kind. Tiny pieces that were lost in sauce and burnt bread. At least the slaw and fries were ok.

Both of us had the pork sandwiches. Pork didn't have much smoke flavor, or any flavor at all(when I'm not lazy, I smoke my own pork) . It was very tender, and the home made BBQ sauces were pretty decent. Coleslaw was good.

Service was.... Lackluster. Very fast to seat us, the restaurant looked clean and we'll maintained, and was quick with getting us our drinks. Server came back and took our order. Everything seemed decent so far. Someone else brought out our order, which is fine. Server may have been on break, or that may just be how they operate. About 1 minute after our food arrived, our server stopped by and asked if everything came out alright. We said it looked good and thanked her. After we were about half way done with our meal, my drink was empty, and my wife's was over half empty. She dropped off the bill and said she will be our cashier when we were ready. We finished our meal with empty cups. Sat for another 5 to 10 minutes after we finished our meal, and nobody came to ask if we wanted desert, to clear our plates, check our drinks, or to ask how our meal was. Very disappointed with our service. Might give it another try in the future. Prices were very reasonable. Will just have to try something else next time, and hopefully will have better service next time.

We had a reservation for over a dozen people here. There was some question about the reservation so they tried to contact us but we were all in a funeral at the time. Our reservation was cancelled, which was a shock to us when we got there. To their credit, though, they opened some tables for us & assigned a great person to wait on us. The food was great & the service was great so we all had a great time. We will certainly come here again to eat.
