Okay, Im from St Joseph, finally went into the Brown Bear Bar. Nice Atmosphere, the beer was warm, and I had a shot of cream de Coco , the shot glass was miniature. No kidding, I thought it was a taste, I should send a proper sized shot glass to these folks.!! The bar across the street serves good drinks. The First Ward House. JB

I had the best bartender and best service possible. But the owner BJ definitely ruined the night he needs help. After me and my friend paid our separate tabs and tipped. He came over yelled and cussed at the bartender in front of everyone saying we didn’t pay anything and she gave away free drinks. Way to be wrong and racist out loud

I don't know that they need a review, if you know the Brown Bear exists, you know you should experience it often and with a good time in mind.
Lot nicer in the inside they expected, bartender was great she made great tasting speciality drinks. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
