I want to share my experience with Cracker Barrel because people deserve to know how things were handled. After going through cancer for the second time, I took medical leave so I could focus on treatment and getting healthy.
I was never fired, but when it came time to return, I didn’t get my job back. Instead of support or understanding, the new managers were rude, mean, and made the whole situation feel nasty and unprofessional.
I fought for my life twice and still worked hard every time I was able to. I never expected special treatment — just basic respect. The way everything was handled was wrong and honestly just bad business.
Glad to see that this establishment is returning to the original decor.

We frequent the St Joseph location once every few months. This morning we stopped in on our way out of town for Thanksgiving breakfast. Our waitress was Beth and she was amazing! Didn’t miss a beat on refills, making sure the food was great, and she was so sweet and friendly! By far one of the best waitresses, besides Stormy, that we’ve had in such a long time! And I mean anywhere at other restaurants, Beth and Stormy have got to be the best ones we’ve had the pleasure of being served by. Great job to those 2 ladies!

Great meal and atmosphere!
I purchased an Apple Strudel pie, and a Cinnamon Roll pie for my Mother's Birthday. She loved them both. Thank you
Hostess and person seating us never said a word!! Not hi how many in your party just looked at you, got seated never said a word not how your day nothing !! First 2 people should have turned and left. Waitress was fantastic and check out staff and staff on floor friendly as I am used too. Visit this restaurant often.
I used to love Cracker Barrel for the old timey homey feel. It was “okay” even after they quit using pure maple syrup and the pancakes became flatter. However, the updated decor is boring and nothing special. The food is just average so nothing makes it special now. Staff is very friendly.
waiter "Brad" was wonderful. he smiled the whole time. was happy attentive and friendly. the food was wonderful, hot and delicious! definitely return here next time we are in the area!
