Located inside East Hills Mall Food Court, Chinex provides constantly good food with very generous portions.

One of the best spots for Chinese food in st. Joe. when you weigh in portion size (huge) vs price (very affordable) and if you know to ask for the right things (chicken/beef fried rice) they will cook it fresh every time. I recommend you go during a lunch rush where everything will be fresh however whenever you go the food will be delicious.

Super cheap, super fast, and large portions. Downside is lack of options (no shrimp, no Hunan or Mongolian dishes). Mushroom chicken was ok, bland and a little salty without adding any soy sauce. Crab Rangoon had little filling and what was there was really sweet. Overall met expectations for a $6 meal.

My friend and I were visiting St. Joe last night and decided we should have chinese for dinner. After consulting yelp we were surprised to see that Chinex was listed as the number 1 chinese place in town. Since we were already at the mall, we decided to eat here more out of convenience than anything. To be fair, we ordered food an hour before the mall closed, so we knew the food had been sitting there for a while. Nothing looked very appealing but like I said before, it was convenient. I ordered lo mein and steamed rice with the mushroom chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The portions were massive so that was a definite plus. The mushroom chicken wasn't too bad but the "chicken" was unidentifiable in the mixture the employee had scooped into our styrofoam containers. The sweet and sour chicken was crunchy (in an offputting way) and almost too sweet to be enjoyable. I probably won't eat here again but for $6 it was a decent meal.

I get hella indegestion every time I eat here but I cant stop myself from eating an unhealthy amount of it. Prices used to be better but the economy musta ruined that. Thanks Obama

When ordering consider to ask the cooks advice on what would be the best choice.
